We join with you in prayer and lift up your needs before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and find healing and forgiveness.
We thank you for humbly asking for healing, protection, peace, strength, guidance, forgiveness of sin and deliverance from temptation, and we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus for help, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us of this truth, and 1 John 1:9 assures us that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray for your healing, for our God is the one who heals us. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 declares, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask the Lord to touch your body, mind and spirit and restore you according to His will.
We pray for your protection, for He is our refuge. Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 promises, But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We pray for His peace to guard your heart, for Philippians 4:7 tells us, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Jesus Himself said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
We pray for strength and guidance, for Isaiah 40:29 says, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might, and Philippians 4:13 reminds us, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. For guidance, Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And James 1:5 promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
We pray also for your deliverance from temptation and for forgiveness. We encourage you to confess all known sin before God and to turn from it, for God desires repentance and holiness. When temptation comes, remember 1 Corinthians 10:13, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Therefore James 4:7 calls us to, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
We now pray together for you. Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and lift up this dear soul who seeks You. We ask for Your healing hand upon them, for Your divine protection over their life, for Your perfect peace to fill their heart and mind, for Your strength to sustain them each day, and for Your wisdom to guide every step they take. Forgive their sins as they confess them to You, cleanse them and make them new through the blood of Jesus, and set them free from every temptation that would entangle them. Help them to walk in Your ways, to resist the enemy, and to draw near to You daily through prayer and Your Word. Let them feel Your presence and know that You hear and answer according to Your perfect will. We trust You to help them and to lead them into fullness of life in Christ. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
