As Peter declared concerning the lame man, it is by the name of Jesus that wholeness comes. We ask the Lord in that name to bring healing to your body, to guide the doctors, and to give you wisdom to know where to go and what to do next.
It is right to seek medical help without delay. God gives wisdom and often works through the care of physicians. Pray for clear direction to walk into the right office and to speak plainly with a doctor as soon as possible, to have the infection properly evaluated, to follow through on treatment, and to address the pain and other symptoms. If antibiotics have not helped, a follow up visit, testing, and honest conversation about all of your symptoms is an important step, and we pray God gives you strength and clarity to take it.
You also asked about forgiveness and whether sin has brought this upon you. The Bible is clear that while all suffering is not directly caused by personal sin, sin does bring affliction and separation, and God graciously restores when we turn to Him. Like Manasseh who had gone far into darkness and yet cried out to the Lord and was restored, anyone who confesses sin finds mercy. If you know of sin, bring it openly to the Lord. If you are unsure, ask Him to search your heart. The promise stands that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us. There is no need to live under a vague sense of condemnation. In Christ, the curse has been broken, for Christ redeemed us from the curse, and we can rest in His finished work rather than fearing curses on people, possessions, food or drink. We pray that you will know the peace of being forgiven, cleansed, and protected in Him.
You mentioned heaviness, emotional flatness, and a desire for happiness, vivid imagination, wisdom, discernment and prophetic insight. God does give wisdom generously when we ask, and He gives a sound mind and peace to replace fear and heaviness. He also calls us to seek Him according to His order and His Word. There is a right way and a wrong way to seek spiritual things, and the end does not justify the means. Dabbling in spiritual realms apart from Scripture leads to captivity, but seeking the Lord Himself through Jesus Christ, through prayer, through His Word, and through obedience brings life and restoration. Rather than chasing experiences or a special anointing for its own sake, seek to know Christ more, to love His Word, and to test every spirit to see whether it is from God. True discernment grows as you walk closely with Him, and true joy grows as you give Him glory and trust Him day by day.

Guard this life and the life of this son at college, and all loved ones, from evil, and keep them close to You. Fill the heart not with striving for experiences but with love for Jesus, with wisdom, with a sound mind, and with quiet confidence in Your presence.
