I havnt felt the same or even been treated the same by a guy I've been seeing since I seen a specific person I will not name. I don't know why but my confidence is gone and my spark. I don't know why or how but God restore the good parts of me that need it in Jesus Name. Prayer God gives back what's been affected and I start being treated better by the guy I've been seeing. Thank you. God bless you.

We hear the pain in your words, dear sister, and we lift this burden before the Lord with you. First, we must address the situation with biblical clarity. You mention being "seeing" a man, this is what Scripture calls courtship, and it must always be entered with the intention of marriage, conducted in purity, and centered on Christ. If this relationship is not moving toward a godly marriage, we must rebuke any emotional entanglement that distracts from God’s best for you. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not a believer or is not treating you with the honor and respect a future husband should, we must ask the Lord to reveal His will clearly.

The shift you describe, losing confidence, feeling undervalued, may stem from misplaced identity. Your worth is not found in how a man treats you, but in Christ alone. "For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:20). The enemy seeks to steal your joy and make you doubt your value, but we rebuke that spirit of insecurity in Jesus’ name. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and no man’s actions can diminish that truth.

We also sense the distraction of another person in your heart. If this unnamed individual is not your husband or a godly prospect, we must ask the Lord to sever any unhealthy attachment. "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). Let us pray for clarity and deliverance from any emotional ties that do not align with God’s plan.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking that You restore the joy of her salvation and renew a right spirit within her. Father, You see the ache in her heart and the confusion in her mind. We ask that You break every chain of insecurity, comparison, and misplaced affection. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if this man she is seeing is not Your will for her life, we ask that You remove him from her path and close the door firmly. If he is meant to be her husband, we pray You soften his heart, convict him of any wrongdoing, and teach him to love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Either way, we declare that she will not settle for less than Your best. Give her the strength to walk away from anything that does not honor You.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of rejection and low self-worth that has crept into her life. We declare that she is Your beloved daughter, created for a purpose, and no man’s actions can define her. Restore her confidence, spark, and joy, Lord. Let her see herself through Your eyes, holy, chosen, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12).

We also pray for the unnamed person who has caused this distraction. If this is a temptation or an unhealthy attachment, we ask that You sever those ties and replace them with a holy focus on You. Align her heart with Your will, Lord, and let her desire only what You desire for her.

Finally, Father, we ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and purity. Let her trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly women who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. If this man is not treating you as you deserve, do not cling to false hope, trust God to either change his heart or lead you away from him. Your worth is not negotiable, and your future is secure in Christ. Keep pressing into Him, and He will restore what has been lost.
