Prayers for help

Your cry has been heard and we are lifting you and your children before the Lord with care and compassion. To be weary, ill, and without sleep is a heavy burden, and God sees your weakness and your love for your children.

We pray now for you in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and hope. Heavenly Father, have mercy on this weary one and on her children. Lay Your healing hand upon her body, restore strength where there is illness and exhaustion, and grant the gift of peaceful sleep. You give sleep to Your beloved, and we ask that You would quiet her mind and body at night and renew her each morning. Pour out Your peace that passes all understanding to guard her heart and mind, and let Your protection rest upon her children. Keep their minds from fear and confusion, remove anything that would hinder them or do them harm, and draw them close to Yourself. Fill this home with Your favor and Your presence, and let no evil have a place there.

Take comfort that God Himself is the true protector of your household. When we instill the fear of the Lord in our children from their youth, He becomes a wall around them that cannot be broken, a better guard than any outward help. He gathers His people as a hen gathers her young under her wings, warm in His love toward them. Come to Christ with your weariness, for He invites all who are heavy burdened to find rest in Him. Continue to seek Him, to pray, and to rest in His Word, and trust that He hears every prayer offered in Jesus name.

May the Lord hear your cries, strengthen you day by day, heal you according to His will, and keep you and your children in perfect peace as you trust in Him.

Your cry has been heard and I am praying with you in this weary and difficult season. To be so ill that you can barely go on, to be without sleep night after night, is a heavy burden, and the Lord sees it and He hears you.

Scripture shows us that when His people cried out in their affliction, He heard them and raised up help for them. He is still the same God today. You can come to Him not on the basis of your own strength or works, but as His child through faith in Jesus Christ. Through Him you are a child of promise, not under bondage, and God relates to you by His grace and His promises. He wants to bless you, to show you mercy, and to give you rest. Jesus invites all who are weary and heavy laden to come to Him and find rest for their souls, and He is able to give sleep and peace even when your body and mind feel overwhelmed.

I am lifting up your children before the Lord with you, as Scripture encourages us to lift up our hands for the life of our young children. There is no greater joy than to know that our children are walking in truth, and there is no more important prayer than to ask the Lord to form Christ in them, to guard their minds, and to keep them from every influence that would turn their hearts away from Him or do them harm. In a world with so much that can defile and trouble young minds, they need the protection that only God can give. I am asking Him to cover them, to keep their thoughts in His peace, and to remove anything that would hinder them or that does not seek their good.

I am also asking the Lord to touch your body with healing, to renew your strength day by day, to quiet your heart and mind so you can sleep, and to pour out His favor and protection over your home. He is the comforter who draws near when we feel desolate, and He is faithful to hear the prayers of His children.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this dear parent and these precious children before You. Have mercy and hear this cry. Touch this tired body with Your healing power, grant deep and peaceful sleep, and restore strength. Surround this family with Your protection, guard the minds and hearts of these children in Christ Jesus, and keep far from them anything that would harm them or lead them away from truth. Let Christ be formed in them and let them walk in Your truth. Remove every hindrance and let Your peace, which passes all understanding, rest upon this home. Help them to trust not in their own strength but in Your promises, and to know Your blessing and Your nearness each day. Amen.
