Prayers for grief

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of his father and best friend. It is important to run to Jesus during this difficult time, finding comfort and peace in Him alone.
Let us remember what Jesus said:
I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. John 11:25-26
This promise reminds us that, through belief in Jesus, death is not the end and that there is hope for eternal life together. As we grieve, we do so with hope.
Our hearts go out in compassion for the intense pain and grief being experienced.
Father God, lift up our brother in his time of need, surround him with Your love, and grant him the comfort that only You can provide. Help him to cast all his anxiety on You because You care for him. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
We pray for his entire family, asking that You would surround them with Your love and provide them with peace that surpasses all understanding.
Praise God for the promise in Romans 8:38-39 which says,
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Praise God that he is never alone and nothing can separate him from Your love.
Jesus, in your name we pray, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
