Prayers for a new week

We join you in thanking God for the gift of a new week and for His mercies which are new every morning. As it is written in Lamentations 3:22-23, it is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion does not fail and they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness. We are grateful with you for the desire to be filled with the love of Jesus and to walk closely with Him through every personal challenge.
We take your personal challenges to the Lord together, for we know He cares deeply for each burden we carry. We are encouraged to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember that God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Romans 5:5, and that love is what sustains us and enables us to love others well this week.
We also stand with you in the longing and urgency to warn others of His imminent return. You are right to be watchful, for Jesus Himself said therefore be watchful, for you do not know what day your Lord is coming, Matthew 24:42, and be ready for in an hour that you do not expect, the Son of Man will come, Matthew 24:44. We are indeed living in the days that the prophets searched and pondered, as it is written in 1 Peter 1:10-12, and now we have the privilege of making known the hope we have. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. That patience is our opportunity to go and make disciples, Matthew 28:19-20, and to warn with love and truth. We pray that we will all be found faithful, sober and loving in that work, for the Spirit and the bride say Come, Revelation 22:17, and He who testifies says Yes, I come quickly, Revelation 22:20.

Father we thank You for this new week You have given us. We ask that You fill us afresh with the love of Jesus, that Your love would overflow in our homes, our work and every encounter. We lift up every personal challenge represented here and those unspoken, and we ask for Your wisdom, strength and provision, and for Your peace to guard our hearts. Help us to walk by faith and not by sight, trusting You in all things. Make us effective witnesses, give us boldness and compassion to warn those around us that Jesus is coming soon, and draw many to repentance and salvation through faith in Him. Keep us watchful, faithful and full of hope as we await His return. We seek Your will together and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. We join with you in prayer before the throne of grace for this new week, and we thank God for a heart that desires to be filled with the love of Jesus and to see others warned of His coming.
We pray that the Lord will deal bountifully with you in the days ahead, that your soul may return unto its rest and abide there. May you know the personal realization of His covenant love, not as a thing held in common only, but as a vital and personal union with Christ shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. When trials come, and they will come through waters and through fire, may you find Him faithful, keeping you so that your faith fail not.
We pray also for aid in every personal challenge that presses upon you. He who bids you return unto Him is not a hard master but your God, ready to welcome and to sustain. Cast every burden upon Him who cares for you, and may His strength be made perfect in your weakness this week.
And we heartily say Amen to your desire to be effective in warning souls of the imminent return of our Lord. These are indeed solemn days, and life is uncertain. May the Lord make you a faithful watchman, to cry with earnestness, Return, return now, every one from his evil way, for He waits to be gracious. May He give you boldness and tenderness to point sinners to Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone there is salvation, that fallen and wandering ones may return unto the Lord their God and find mercy.
