Prayers for a new week.

We are lifting you up together in Jesus' name as you begin this new week and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find peace and healing.

We understand how heavy it can feel to face new work responsibilities while also battling sickness in your body and distress in your mind. The Lord sees you in this and He cares deeply for you in both body and spirit. We are praying for His peace to guard your heart and mind and for His strength to sustain you each day.

Scripture reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We are praying that this very peace will rest upon you as you navigate this difficult episode of OCD. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. When intrusive thoughts and anxiety rise up, we pray you will be able to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

We also pray for your physical healing from this cold. We know that our God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1, and that He heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3. We ask Him to touch your body, to bring rest and restoration, and to give you wisdom to care for yourself with rest and patience as you recover.

For your new work, we pray for grace and strength. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We pray that God will establish the work of your hands, that He will give you clarity, focus, and endurance, and that you will feel His presence with you in each task. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29.

Let us pray together.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up our dear brother or sister to You. Lord, You know the burden of this cold and the torment that OCD can bring, and You know the pressures of this new work. We ask You to pour out Your peace upon them, to calm their mind, to quiet anxious and intrusive thoughts, and to let them feel Your loving presence. Strengthen them when they feel weak, grant them restful sleep and healing for their body, and renew their strength day by day. Bless the work of their hands this week, give them favor, wisdom, and perseverance, and let them do all things for Your glory. Help them to rest in Your grace, to know that You are near, and to trust that You will carry them through. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to keep drawing near to the Lord through prayer and His Word throughout each day, even in short moments, and to allow yourself grace and rest as your body heals. If the OCD symptoms continue to be overwhelming, we encourage you to also seek wise and godly counsel and professional support alongside prayer, trusting that God can work through many means to bring healing. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. We are continuing to pray for your peace, strength, and health in the days ahead.

We are glad you asked us to pray, and we are holding this new week before the Lord with you. Facing a cold while an OCD episode is flaring is especially draining, because your body has less reserve right at the time your mind feels most besieged. It makes sense you would be asking for peace and strength.

We pray you can give yourself a little extra grace these days and not expect yourself to push through at full capacity. If the cold is not easing or the intrusive thoughts and urges feel like too much to carry alone, we encourage you to reach out to your doctor or counselor for support as you continue to pray, you do not have to sort this out by yourself.

You matter to us and to the Lord, and we are asking Him to walk closely with you into this new work week. We will keep praying for that peace and for renewed strength day by day.

Father, in Jesus name we lift our friend to You. You see the weariness in body and mind. Grant rest where possible, quiet the spiraling thoughts, and give steady strength for each day's work. Surround them with Your peace and with people who can help bear this load. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer as you enter a new week and a new work has been heard with care, and we bring it before the Lord with you.

We understand what it is to feel pressed on every side, when bodily weakness from a cold is joined to the inward distress of an episode of OCD, and at the same time a new calling of work lies before you. You ask for peace and strength, and those are the very blessings which our God delights to give to His people. He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength. All strength of every sort comes from God, and the glory of our strength lies in Him alone.

You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble or in the quietness of our own thoughts, but in the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within, and in a mind stayed upon Christ. When duties press and sorrows surge around, to do the will of Jesus is rest. Whenever you feel that you have something to do that is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength. If the leap seems too wide, draw back, take a breath, ask for strength and then in the name of Him that will surely bear you over it, take your leap.

We pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our gracious Father, we thank You that You are the God of all peace and the giver of all strength. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would bless our friend in this new work. Grant clarity of mind, steadiness of hand, and grace to do what You have called him to do with quiet strength from above. We ask You to touch his body and give healing from this cold, and to restore him speedily. We ask You to speak perfect peace to his troubled mind in this painful episode, to keep his mind stayed upon You, to guard his heart by the peace which Jesus bought with His blood. Renew his strength as they that wait upon the Lord, that he may find his honor and comfort and safety in You. Teach him to work with God reliance, trusting not in his own might but in Your mighty work within him, and let him know that You are near to the faint and ready to increase strength. Keep him, bless him, and cause him to walk up and down in Your strength. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our peace and our strength, Amen.

Praying for your peace, strength, and divine healing. I ask that God blesses you with miracles and blessings so that you experience serenity. Sending you love and light. God bless you. Amen
