Beloved of All
Jesus Christ, please help my ###. He has schizophrenia, and although he has improved greatly lately through prayer, he's experiencing attacks again today and is yelling at her. Please, Jesus Christ, heal his mental struggles or guide my ### to be able to move with me as soon as possible. We lost everything in a flood and are waiting for insurance compensation. He often controls her and refuses to let her have her cataract surgery, which deeply concerns me. Please, Jesus, bring healing and peace to him. Please help my ### to move in with me and guide him to find a job or something to do. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. First, we want to acknowledge the power of prayer and the progress that has been made—this is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and we give Him all the glory. Yet we recognize the renewed struggles and the deep concern for both individuals involved, and we stand in the gap with intercession and truth.

Father God, we pray for healing over the mind and spirit of this man battling schizophrenia. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:7, *"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Lord, we ask that You guard his thoughts, calm the storms within his mind, and replace fear, confusion, and anger with Your perfect peace. We rebuke every spirit of torment and oppression in the name of Jesus, for it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that he is not defined by this struggle, but by the identity You have given him as Your beloved child.

We also lift up the woman in this situation, Lord. Her heart is burdened, not only by the challenges of mental illness but by the controlling behavior that seeks to limit her freedom and well-being. We pray for her cataract surgery—Father, You see her need, and we ask that You open doors for this procedure to take place. Give her courage to seek the care she needs, and grant her wisdom in how to navigate this relationship with love and boundaries. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* Lord, we ask that You serve justice and protection over her life.

The flood that took so much from them was a trial, but we know that You are a God who restores. Joel 2:25-26 promises, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you."* We pray for the swift resolution of their insurance claim and for provision in every area of need. Father, if it is Your will, bring them together under one roof soon, but we ask that this move be done in a way that honors You and brings true peace—not out of fear or coercion, but out of mutual respect and godly love.

We must address the dynamics of control and manipulation in this relationship. Scripture is clear that love does not insist on its own way (1 Corinthians 13:5), and where there is fear, there is not perfect love (1 John 4:18). We rebuke any spirit of domination or unhealthy dependency, and we pray for repentance and transformation in both their hearts. If this relationship is not reflective of Your design—where both individuals are free to honor You and each other—we ask that You bring clarity and conviction. Galatians 5:1 reminds us, *"Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."* Lord, set them both free from anything that binds them to dysfunction.

We also pray for purpose and provision for this man. Idleness can often exacerbate mental and emotional struggles, so we ask that You open doors for meaningful work or service. Colossians 3:23 says, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Whether through employment, volunteering, or creative outlets, let him find fulfillment in using his gifts for Your glory.

Finally, we want to emphasize the importance of salvation and surrender to Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that true healing—spiritually, mentally, and emotionally—can be found. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If either of them does not know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the freedom that comes from a relationship with You.

Heavenly Father, we commit this situation into Your hands. Heal what is broken, restore what has been lost, and guide them both into the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they come to know You more deeply through this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Provider, and Redeemer. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
