We lift up your son and this pivotal soccer match to the Lord, asking for His grace and favor to rest upon him. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your sovereign plan for his life. We pray that You would grant him strength, agility, and wisdom on the field today. May he play with integrity, sportsmanship, and a heart that honors You, regardless of the outcome.
Lord, we ask that You calm any anxiety or fear he may be feeling. Remind him that his worth is not defined by his performance but by who he is in Christ. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding as he competes.
We also pray for protection over him—guard him from injury and keep him safe in body, mind, and spirit. If it is Your will, Lord, open the door for him to advance to this important tournament. But above all, may this experience draw him closer to You and remind him that his identity is found in Christ alone.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of pride or idolatry that may try to take root in his heart. Help him to keep You first in all things and to use his talents for Your glory. If this tournament is not part of Your plan for him, give him the grace to accept that with humility and trust in Your greater purpose.
We declare over him the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May he walk in the confidence of Your love and provision today and always.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
