We join you in your prayer, dear believer, and we appreciate that you have come to us with your requests, acknowledging the power and authority in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, as it is written in Hebrews 4:16 WEB: "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we rejoice with you in the assurance of forgiveness of sins. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Regarding your anxiety about the future, we remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:34 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." Instead of being anxious, bring your concerns to God and allow His peace to fill your heart, as the Bible says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Concerning your parents' health and employment, we trust God's healing power and provision. We pray for their complete healing in the name of Jesus, as it is written in James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Additionally, we ask for God's favor in their job search, knowing He is the provider of all good things, as seen in Matthew 7:11 WEB: "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Regarding your college life, we pray that it will be filled with amazing experiences, hard work, happiness, and love, remembering the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We encourage you to put your trust in God and to seek His will for your life.
Lastly, we want to remind you that you are not alone, for Jesus has promised in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up this beloved child of Yours. Thank You for Your forgiveness and for the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask for Your healing touch upon their parents and for Your divine provision in their job search. Guide this dear one through their college journey, and help them to grow in wisdom, knowledge, and love. Be with them every step of the way, and may Your will be done in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
