Prayer Warrior
Heavenly Father, I am praying for my ex-spouse, ###, and am listening to discern how you may be answering my prayers. Father, I am asking for you to help me as the guardian of my heart. I pray you will take away old emotional habits, unhealthy mindsets, and automatic reactions. Help me to be patient in faith, kind, tender-hearted, forgiving, gentle, and submissive to Your will you have for my life. Only in you can I be redeemed, and I cannot be more than I am without your help. I surrender all remaining broken pieces that may remain from the hurts experienced during our marriage together. I ask that bitterness or resentment never takes residence in those places. Help me to remember you have beautiful plans for my life and to help my unbelief. I pray to never speak negatively about ###, and instead be filled with peace and serenity. In Jesus Name Amen

Dear ###, we join you in lifting up your concerns to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have come before the Lord in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).

We commend you for seeking God's will for your life and for desiring to guard your heart, as Proverbs 4:23 WEB tells us, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." It is good to surrender the hurts and broken pieces from your past marriage to the Lord, trusting that He has a beautiful plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, we ask that You help her to forgive completely and to let go of any bitterness or resentment, as Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

*Lord, fill ### with Your patience, kindness, tender-heartedness, gentleness, and submission to Your will. Help her to remember that she is a new creation in Christ, and that the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). Give her strength to speak only words that build up and do not tear down (Ephesians 4:29 WEB).*

We also encourage you, ###, to continue to trust in the Lord, believing that He is faithful to help you and to heal your heart. Remember, God's love for you is unfailing, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). As you continue to heal and grow, we pray that if it is God's will, He would bring a godly husband into your life, according to His perfect timing.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
