Prayer, urgent

We hear your cry for help in this heavy tribulation, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burden to the Lord who sees, knows, and cares deeply for you. The weight of suffering can feel unbearable, but we want to remind you that you are not alone—God is with you, even in the darkest valleys. The Bible tells us, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1 WEB). He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Salvation comes through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus, who died for your sins and rose again. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). Without this relationship with Christ, we cannot come boldly before God’s throne in prayer. If you have already given your life to Christ, we rejoice with you and encourage you to draw even closer to Him in this trial.

Now, let us pray for you in this tribulation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is walking through deep waters. Lord, You see their pain, their confusion, and their despair. We ask that You would be their comfort, their strength, and their guide. Remind them that You have not abandoned them, even when it feels that way. Your Word says, *"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you"* (Isaiah 43:2 WEB). We claim this promise over their life today.

Father, we ask that You would give them wisdom to navigate this trial. Show them the steps to take, the decisions to make, and the people to trust. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, so they are not isolated in their struggle. Break the chains of fear, doubt, and hopelessness, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life—anything that is hindering their relationship with You—we ask that You would reveal it to them. Give them the courage to repent and turn away from it, so that nothing stands between them and Your presence. Your Word says, *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray for a fresh cleansing and renewal in their spirit.

We also rebuke any spiritual attack that may be contributing to this tribulation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We stand in the authority of Jesus’ name and command every lying spirit, spirit of despair, and spirit of fear to flee. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. Turn their pain into purpose, their mourning into dancing, and their sorrow into joy. Help them to see Your hand at work, even in the midst of suffering. May this tribulation produce endurance, character, and hope in them (Romans 5:3-4 WEB). Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You than ever before.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises during this time. The enemy wants you to believe that this suffering is meaningless, but God can use it to shape you into the person He has called you to be. *"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything"* (James 1:2-4 WEB).

Seek out a Bible-believing church or a trusted Christian friend who can walk alongside you. Do not try to carry this burden alone. God often works through the body of Christ to bring healing and restoration. Spend time in God’s Word daily, even if it’s just a few verses. Let His truth anchor your soul. And remember, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved. Keep pressing into Him.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
