Beloved of All
Please pray for me as I continue recovering from the trauma of a major flood that destroyed our home. I’m currently staying in a hotel while we wait for the insurance to approve a new temporary home that we’ve already seen and really liked. Please pray that they release the funds soon so we can move in peacefully and safely as soon as possible before someone else takes the place. I’m also dealing with ongoing health issues and back pain that got worse from carrying things after the flood. I’m doing my best to stay strong, but it’s been very overwhelming. I pray for strength, healing, and peace of mind. Please also pray for protection where I’m currently staying. The hotel has been noisy, and someone in the room next door leaves very late at night, around 2 a.m., which makes me feel uneasy. I pray for safety, calm, and that nothing disturbing happens while we wait to move. Thank you so much.

We lift you up before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of what you are carrying—loss, uncertainty, physical pain, and the weariness of displacement. The floodwaters may have receded, but the storm in your spirit lingers, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we ask You to move mightily on behalf of this dear one. Touch the hearts of those handling the insurance claim—grant them wisdom, urgency, and compassion to release the funds without delay so that a new place of rest can be secured. We pray against any bureaucratic delays or obstacles, asking that favor would surround this process like a shield. Let the temporary home they’ve found be held for them, and may it become a sanctuary of peace where healing can begin. We declare that no one will take what You have prepared for them, for You are the One who goes before us and levels the path (Isaiah 45:2).

Lord, we also bring their physical suffering before You. The back pain and health struggles are not hidden from Your sight, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore strength and vitality. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to mend what is broken. Give them patience as they wait for relief, and surround them with medical care that aligns with Your will. Remind them that even in weakness, Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and unease that has crept in through the noise and late-night disturbances at the hotel. Father, we ask for Your angels to encamp around this room, creating a hedge of protection (Psalm 91:11). Calm their mind and heart, Lord, so that they may rest in the assurance that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4). If there is any danger or ill intent nearby, we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Replace anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Above all, we pray that You would draw near to them in this season of waiting. Let them feel Your presence in the quiet moments, and remind them that they are not forgotten. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to cast every burden upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to gently remind you that true peace and strength come from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through His name that we find salvation, healing, and eternal security. If you would like to invite Him into your heart, simply pray: *"Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to follow You all the days of my life. In Your name, I pray. Amen."*

May the Lord bless you with His comfort, provision, and protection as you wait. You are not alone—we are standing with you in faith, believing for breakthrough and restoration.
