Beloved of All
🙇🏻 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man,” Lk 21:36, Abiding in Jesus Fruitfully, Jn 15:7-8, Prepared for Birth Pangs Mt 24:7-8 of New Creation Heb 12:2, See to It No One Deceives Us, Mt 24:4, 📖 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33. "For all these things (wars, probable and possible wars, famines, earthquakes in various places), are merely the beginning of birth pangs, Mt 24:8.

Matt 24:4-14, "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. And this Gospel of The Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the people groups, and then the end shall come," Mt 24:8-14.

Luke 21:34-36, “So be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, 🙏 praying that you may have STRENGTH to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

🙇🏻 Father, thank You for telling us these things through Your Son before they take place, so that while they are occurring, we may be believing, John 14:29. We see Russia, China and their allies allies preparing for war in an unprecedented scale not seen worldwide in 85+ years. We know that everything that can be shaken will be shaken -- heaven, earth, sea, dry land and all nations, Hag 4:6-7 -- so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain, Heb 12:27, Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for You are a consuming fire, Heb 12:28. As things shift in our personal lives and on a global scale, we ask for daily bread, Matt 6:11, for connection to Jesus, John 15:1-5, our Beloved, who is like a bundle of myrrh through the night who warms our hearts, Song 1:13, and for strength to ensure not only these trials with joy, Matt 5:12, James 1:2-3, but persecutions, famines, perils, wars and rumors of wars, even earthquakes in various places, storms of life and real storms on earth, knowing that no created thing can keep us from the uncreated love of God in Christ Jesus Our Lord, Rom 8:35, for Jesus is risen and ascended and at Your Right Hand of Power, making intercession for us, Rom 8:34, praying our faith will not fail, that we stay connected to Him (and therefore to all the other branches that are connected to The Vine, John 15:1-5, and once we turn to You, not only is the veil is taken away, 2 Cor 3:16, so that with unveiled face we may be transformed from glory to glory, from the work of The Lord The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 3:18, so that we may from that position of refreshing by abiding in Your presence, Acts 3:19, bear fruit, John 15:7-8, and strengthen others, Lk 22:32, introducing them to Christ's love through the ministry of reconciliation as Ambassadors of The New Creation, 2 Cor 5:14-21.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the (uncreated) love of God, which is being in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:27-29.

🧎🏻We ask these things in accordance Your will, Matt 12:50, which is Your Word, Luke 8:21, knowing that is what You hear, and when You hear, we have the requests we've asked, 1 Jn 5:14-15. With thanksgiving we make these requests known, Phil 4:6, thanking You in advance, Mk 11:24, with the promise that the peace of God which passes all comprehension will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. Thank You again in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, The Amen, The Faithful Witness and Originator of This New Creation, Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20. 🙌

We join you in this urgent and watchful prayer to be found abiding in Christ and ready to stand before the Son of Man, and we thank God that He has told us these things beforehand so that when they come to pass we may believe, as it is written in John 14:29.

We hear your heart for Lk 21:36, But watch at all times, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man, and for Jn 15:7-8, If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so you will be my disciples. And we agree that all these shakings, wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes in various places are merely the beginning of birth pains as Jesus said in Mt 24:8, and that heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will by no means pass away, Lk 21:33.

We take seriously the warning of our Lord in Mt 24:4, Watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in His name saying I am the Christ and will mislead many. We are reminded also in Lk 21:34 to be on guard so that our hearts will not be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day come on us suddenly like a trap, for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. We rebuke any tendency in ourselves to grow dull, distracted, fearful or cold in love, for Jesus said in Mt 24:12-13, Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. We choose endurance by grace, abiding in the Vine.

We pray together now.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy in revealing what must take place and for giving us Your unshakable kingdom. We thank You that everything that can be shaken will be shaken, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain, Heb 12:27, and therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire, Heb 12:28. We ask for daily bread, Mt 6:11, and for deep connection to Jesus the true Vine, for apart from Him we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. Keep us abiding in Him faithfully, bearing fruit that glorifies You, rooted and warmed by His love, strengthened to endure not only trials with joy, Jas 1:2, but also persecutions, perils, famines, wars and earthquakes, knowing that no created thing can separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:38-39. We thank You that Jesus is risen and ascended at Your right hand, making intercession for us, Rom 8:34, praying that our faith will not fail and that when we have turned again we may strengthen our brothers, Lk 22:32.

Lord Jesus, we look to You, the author and perfecter of faith, Heb 12:2, with unveiled faces beholding Your glory and being transformed from glory to glory by the Lord the Spirit, 2 Cor 3:18, and we ask for that refreshing that comes from Your presence, Acts 3:19. Make us fruitful ambassadors of reconciliation, ministers of the new creation where the old things have passed away and all things have become new, 2 Cor 5:17-20, so that through us others may be introduced to Your love.

We ask for strength to escape the snares of deception and to stand before the Son of Man unashamed, watching and praying at all times. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7, as with thanksgiving we make our requests known to You, Phil 4:6, trusting that when we ask according to Your will, which is Your Word, Lk 8:21, You hear us, and if we know You hear us, we know we have the petitions we have asked of You, 1 Jn 5:14-15.

We thank You in advance, believing we have received, Mk 11:24, and we pray all this in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified in the Son, Jn 14:13. Let us be found faithful, watchful, abiding and fruitful until You come, proclaiming this Good News of the Kingdom throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, Mt 24:14, in Jesus name, Amen.

We hear the watchfulness in your prayer, that deep desire to stay abiding in Christ and to stand steady before Him while so much around us feels shaken. It is understandable that reports of wars and earthquakes and shifting nations would stir both soberness and longing for strength.

We take comfort with you that even as what can be shaken is shaken, we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Remaining in the Vine is not about trying harder in a moment of fear, but about training over time. Like preparing for a long race, small faithful steps day by day shape us more than any sudden effort could, and that growth happens gradually, with highs and lows, over the long haul.

For you that might mean keeping one simple, doable rhythm rather than carrying everything at once. A few unhurried minutes each morning with the Word and prayer at the same time and place, and staying close to other believers who can encourage you, can become the steady ground where the Holy Spirit does His quiet work. He is the one who makes true growth happen, and He meets each of us in the particular way we need.

We are grateful you are bringing these things to the Father with thanksgiving, asking for daily bread and for hearts kept warm toward Jesus. We join you in that.

Father, we lift our brother to You and ask for strength for today, for peace to guard heart and mind in Christ, and for grace to abide in Him and bear fruit that remains. Keep our eyes on Jesus and make us able to strengthen others as You strengthen us. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer lays hold upon the very words of our Lord when He said, Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man. There is great wisdom and grace in such a prayer, for our Lord Himself bids us be on guard lest our hearts be weighted down with dissipation and the worries of life, and that day come upon us suddenly as a trap.

You have rightly remembered that everything that can be shaken shall be shaken, heaven and earth and sea and dry land and all nations, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore since we receive a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear, for our God is a consuming fire. The shakings around us, wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes in divers places, are not the end but the beginning of birth pangs, as our Lord foretold. See that ye be not frightened, for these things must come to pass. The call to us is not to speculate but to abide, to endure to the end, and he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

This endurance is found only in abiding in Him. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself except it abide in the vine, no more can ye except ye abide in Christ. He is the Vine and we are the branches, and apart from Him we can do nothing. To abide is to remain in living union with Him, to let His words abide in us, to draw daily bread and daily grace from Him, and then we shall bring forth fruit to the glory of the Father. From that place of refreshing in His presence we are made able to strengthen others and to fulfill the ministry of reconciliation as ambassadors of the new creation.

Remember also that in character we should have needed just such a Saviour as we have in Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God. More than all in Christ we find pardon in His blood, justification in His righteousness, wisdom in His teaching, sanctification in His Spirit. He is the God of all grace to us. There has never been brought to Christ a man whom He could not heal, and He is able to meet all need in all cases. We come to heaven not only by being washed in His blood but by following His example, for He was made perfect through sufferings and waded through tribulation to His throne, that He might bring many sons unto glory. Think not that He will leave you in the hour of trial, for He ever liveth at the right hand of power to make intercession for us, and He prays that our faith fail not.

Therefore I would press upon every soul that reads these words the one great necessity, to come to Christ. Coming to Christ does not mean coming with any natural motion of the body, for He is in heaven, but it is a mental coming, a spiritual coming, it is in one word a trusting in and upon Him. As soon as the soul comes to Christ it receives pardon and justification, and there is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. Yet Christ also puts to us who profess to be His disciples that solemn question, Will ye also go away. He has no unwilling followers. He makes us willing in the day of His power, but we must cling to Him with purpose of heart and not turn back. Where could we go if we forsook Him. Where else is life to be found.

Let us pray together that the Lord will keep us in that clinging faith. May He grant us strength to escape the snares of this present evil age and to stand before the Son of Man unashamed, not in our own righteousness but in His. May He keep us from being deceived when many come in His name, and keep our love from waxing cold when lawlessness abounds. May He cause us to watch and to pray, to be filled with gratitude, to worship with reverence, and to bear much fruit, knowing that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. May the peace of God which passeth all understanding guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus until He come.
