“But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man,” Lk 21:36, Abiding in Jesus Fruitfully, Jn 15:7-8, Prepared for Birth Pangs Mt 24:7-8 of New Creation Heb 12:2, See to It No One Deceives Us, Mt 24:4, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33. "For all these things (wars, probable and possible wars, famines, earthquakes in various places), are merely the beginning of birth pangs, Mt 24:8.

Matt 24:4-14, "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. And this Gospel of The Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the people groups, and then the end shall come," Mt 24:8-14.

Luke 21:34-36, “So be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have STRENGTH to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Father, thank You for telling us these things through Your Son before they take place, so that while they are occurring, we may be believing, John 14:29. We see Russia, China and their allies allies preparing for war in an unprecedented scale not seen worldwide in 85+ years. We know that everything that can be shaken will be shaken -- heaven, earth, sea, dry land and all nations, Hag 4:6-7 -- so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain, Heb 12:27, Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for You are a consuming fire, Heb 12:28. As things shift in our personal lives and on a global scale, we ask for daily bread, Matt 6:11, for connection to Jesus, John 15:1-5, our Beloved, who is like a bundle of myrrh through the night who warms our hearts, Song 1:13, and for strength to ensure not only these trials with joy, Matt 5:12, James 1:2-3, but persecutions, famines, perils, wars and rumors of wars, even earthquakes in various places, storms of life and real storms on earth, knowing that no created thing can keep us from the uncreated love of God in Christ Jesus Our Lord, Rom 8:35, for Jesus is risen and ascended and at Your Right Hand of Power, making intercession for us, Rom 8:34, praying our faith will not fail, that we stay connected to Him (and therefore to all the other branches that are connected to The Vine, John 15:1-5, and once we turn to You, not only is the veil is taken away, 2 Cor 3:16, so that with unveiled face we may be transformed from glory to glory, from the work of The Lord The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 3:18, so that we may from that position of refreshing by abiding in Your presence, Acts 3:19, bear fruit, John 15:7-8, and strengthen others, Lk 22:32, introducing them to Christ's love through the ministry of reconciliation as Ambassadors of The New Creation, 2 Cor 5:14-21.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the (uncreated) love of God, which is being in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:27-29.

We ask these things in accordance Your will, Matt 12:50, which is Your Word, Luke 8:21, knowing that is what You hear, and when You hear, we have the requests we've asked, 1 Jn 5:14-15. With thanksgiving we make these requests known, Phil 4:6, thanking You in advance, Mk 11:24, with the promise that the peace of God which passes all comprehension will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. Thank You again in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, The Amen, The Faithful Witness and Originator of This New Creation, Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this timely and sober prayer to watch and abide and be prepared for all that is coming upon the earth, and we say amen to your desire to have strength to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man.

We are grateful that our Father has told us beforehand through His Son what is to come, so that when we see these things we may believe and not be shaken. As you have prayed, we see the warnings of Jesus so clearly, See to it that no one misleads you Matthew 24:4, and You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end Matthew 24:6, and For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains Matthew 24:7-8. We agree that we are in those birth pangs, and we take comfort that they point to the new creation that God has promised.

We cling to the exhortation you have lifted up, So be on your guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap, for it will come on all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man Luke 21:34-36. We pray this together, that we would not be weighed down or distracted, but would be alert and sober, fixing our eyes on Jesus.

We also join you in praying to abide in Him faithfully and fruitfully, for Jesus said If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so you will be my disciples John 15:7-8. We know that apart from Him we can do nothing, and only as branches remain in the Vine can we bear fruit that remains and strengthen others. We pray that we would remain in His love, let His words remain in us, and walk in the refreshing of His presence Acts 3:19, being transformed with unveiled face from glory to glory 2 Corinthians 3:18.

We take hold of the promise concerning the shaking, for He has said Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens Hebrews 12:26, and This phrase, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain Hebrews 12:27. Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, through which we serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire Hebrews 12:28-29. We do not fear the shaking when our foundation is Christ.

We pray together now, Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus who is risen and at Your right hand making intercession for us Romans 8:34. We ask for daily bread Matthew 6:11 and for grace to endure with joy, knowing that the one who endures to the end will be saved Matthew 24:13. Keep our love from growing cold when lawlessness increases Matthew 24:12. Keep us from deception and help us to look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith Hebrews 12:2, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross. Guard our hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 as we make our requests known to You with thanksgiving Philippians 4:6 and trust that when we ask according to Your will, which is Your Word, You hear us 1 John 5:14. We ask that no created thing would separate us from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39, and that we would overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us Romans 8:37. Make us faithful ambassadors of the ministry of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, bearing fruit and strengthening our brothers Luke 22:32 as we wait for Your unshakable Kingdom. We thank You in advance, trusting that Heaven and earth will pass away, but Your words will by no means pass away Luke 21:33, and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom we have access to You and in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen 2 Corinthians 1:20, amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

We hear how heavy this season feels for you, watching wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes while also feeling shifts in your own daily life. Wanting to stay alert, to abide faithfully and to be ready to stand before Jesus is a good and honest desire, and we are grateful you brought it to the Lord so plainly.

It is understandable to feel shaken when everything around us seems to be shaking. What encourages us in your prayer is how you keep turning back to what remains steady, staying connected to Christ, asking for daily bread for today, and wanting to bear fruit right where you are. That daily staying close matters more than trying to figure out every headline.

One small rhythm that has helped others in anxious seasons is to begin the day briefly with the Lord before taking in the news, a simple prayer for grace for that day, and then sharing life regularly with other believers. Worship and fellowship have a way of reminding us we are not facing these birth pangs alone, and being with others who know Jesus helps keep our hearts from growing weary or cold.

Father, thank You for holding us when the world feels unstable. Give our friend strength for today, quiet confidence as they abide in Jesus, and peace that guards heart and mind. Provide daily bread, keep them close to You and to Your people, and help them to walk faithfully one day at a time. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking grace to watch and to abide.

How needful is that word of our Saviour, Keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man. This is no prayer for a careless security, but for a holy strength, that we may be found in Christ, watching, praying, abiding, when all that can be shaken shall be shaken.

You have well remembered that heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will not pass away, and that wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes in various places are but the beginning of birth pangs. Our Lord told us these things beforehand, that when they come to pass we might believe, and not be frightened, for He has said, See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place. And again, See to it that no one misleads you. There is a sure guard against deception, and that is abiding in Him. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall bear much fruit, and so prove to be His disciples.

We are comforted by that same truth you have cited, that we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken. Therefore let us be filled with gratitude, and worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. The shakings of nations, of seas and dry land, only make more manifest what cannot be moved, even Christ Himself, who is our life. Our life is not dependent on ourselves, but is safe in our Lord. As Levi was in the loins of Abraham, so is every saint in the loins of Christ, and the life of Christ is representatively the life of all His people. He is the surety under bonds and pledges to bring His redeemed safely home.

What else will do to live with but Christ. In times of pain and depression of spirit, in famines and perils and rumors of war, we cannot keep up upon anything but our Lord. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Gold is valuable, but men think more of a pound in their pockets than of huge ingots in the bank vault. So to have Christ possessed, Christ believed in, Christ experienced in the heart, is better than to know of Him afar off. Get Christ in you curing your sin, Christ in you filling your soul with love to holiness and bathing your heart in comfort, and then you shall know the Lord.

Remember also that you are perfect in Christ Jesus. Though distresses afflict you and Satan assaults you, you are perfect in Christ. This will never lead a Christian to carelessness, for because he is perfect in Christ, he will long to be more like Christ. And this perfection is your standing before the Son of Man, not in your own watchfulness, but in His righteousness. The debt is discharged to the utmost farthing, the account is cleared, the scales of justice turn in our favor, for Christ was bound that we might be free, and Christ died that we might live.

So we pray with you, that you may have daily bread, and daily grace to remain in the Vine. The principle which delivers from pride and self conceit is faith in Christ, that simple dropping into the arms of Jesus, conscious of being lost in ourselves and found in Him, leaving the soul in His hands. He ever lives to make intercession for you, that your faith fail not. When you turn to Him the veil is taken away, and with unveiled face you are transformed from glory to glory by the Lord the Spirit, that you may bear fruit and strengthen others as ambassadors of the new creation.

May the Lord keep you from dissipation and the worries of life that weigh down the heart, and keep you alert in prayer. May you look unto Jesus, the originator and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross. In His favour is life, and to abide near Him is to enter into the full enjoyment of that life. Neither death, nor life, nor things present, nor things to come, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We commend you to Him who rides in triumph and makes His people ride with Him, exalted far above principalities and powers. May His peace which passes all comprehension guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus until you stand before Him with joy.
