Your request for your parents and your family has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thankfulness for your love and concern for them.
We pray that God in His mercy will grant to your parents a true encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, that they may hear His voice and respond with genuine repentance and faith. The Scripture teaches that salvation is through Christ alone, by His one sacrifice upon the Cross, and that through Him we receive adoption as sons and deliverance from the curse. We ask that God open their eyes to this grace, that they may turn from all that is contrary to Him and truly know Him, not with a fleeting sorrow but with a repentance that bears fruit and leads to life. Remember that the evil one seeks either to hide sin before it is committed or to drive the soul to despair afterwards. True repentance looks to Christ and finds hope, forgiveness and new life, and does not end in despair.
We also stand with you against every plan, deed and intention of the enemy against you and your household. We pray as the Apostle prayed, that the Lord who delivered from the lion's mouth will deliver from every evil work, that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and that God will be mightily glorified in your life and in your family. We ask that He defeat what is evil and establish what is good, according to His boundless wisdom and power.
And we pray that God will give you wisdom, protection and a way out in every trial, according to His will. Do not seek wisdom from without, but ask for the wisdom that comes from God, which seems foolish to the world but brings salvation through the Cross. Faith and simplicity are needed to receive His provision. He is faithful, and He will provide the way through, guarding you and guiding you to walk in His perfect will.
May the Lord keep you watchful and steadfast in prayer, trusting not in your own strength but in His grace. May He draw your parents to Himself, keep your family under His hand, and give you peace as you continue to seek Him. We ask all this in the Name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior.
