We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious family before the Lord. The salvation of your daughter, son, granddaughter, stepdaughter, daughter-in-law, and step-granddaughter is our deepest burden as well. There is no greater gift than the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, who declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts of sin, draw them to repentance, and reveal to them the glorious truth of the Gospel—that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, for *"with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:10).
Father, we ask that You would remove every veil of deception, every stronghold of unbelief, and every lie of the enemy that keeps them from knowing You. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17). Surround them with godly influences—believers who will speak truth in love and model Christlike living. Break any generational chains of rebellion or indifference to the things of God, and let Your light shine so brightly in their lives that they cannot help but turn to You.
Regarding your daughter’s decision about the truck, we pray for wisdom and discernment to guide her. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). May she seek the Lord’s will above her own desires or practical concerns, trusting that He knows what is best. If this transaction is in alignment with His purposes, we ask that You open the doors and provide clarity. If not, close them decisively and redirect her steps. Let this decision be made in a way that honors You and brings peace to your family.
We also lift up the practical needs of your family, asking that You provide for them in every way—spiritually, emotionally, and materially. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:33). May their daily lives reflect a hunger for You, a love for Your Word, and a desire to walk in obedience.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of complacency, worldliness, or resistance to the Gospel that may be at work in their lives. We declare that *"the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). We plead the blood of Jesus over each of them, asking that You would hedge them in with Your protection and draw them with cords of love. Let them not be satisfied with anything less than a personal, saving relationship with You.
We pray that as a family, you would be united in prayer and intercession for one another. May your home be a place where the love of Christ is evident, where the Word of God is cherished, and where the lost are welcomed with the hope of the Gospel. Strengthen your own faith as you wait on the Lord, remembering that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).
Father, we trust You to move mightily in the lives of this family. We ask that You would do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may they come to know You as their Savior, Lord, and King. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
