Your request has been laid before the Lord with thankfulness, for it is good that in every care, whether great or small, we make our ways known unto God. We rejoice to hear you say, May God's Will Be Done, for that is the posture of a heart that has learned to trust Him.
There are trials which checkered life brings that seem but little in the eyes of others, yet they press upon the daily path. After having done your best to earn your daily bread and to fight the battle of life, if you find you cannot do all you would, you may then throw yourself upon the promise of God, wherein He has said, Your bread shall be given you, and your water shall be sure. The same God who numbers the hairs of your head and paints every flower that blooms is not unmindful of the labour of your hands. We are taught that blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation, and that He that is our God is the God of salvation, and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. If He bears our greater burdens, He will bear this also.
May the Lord direct you into the love of God and into the patience of Christ in this present hindrance. That patience is much needed when earthly instruments fail us, and it is a blessed patience which waits upon the Lord for guidance and rests in His wise ordering. Deal with God as you would have your children deal with you. If He says He will hear those who trust Him through the blood of Jesus Christ, then trust Him, and know that He hears.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou art our God forever and ever, and we bless Thee that we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, being justified by faith through His precious blood. We thank Thee that Thou loadest us daily with benefits, and that not one of our cares is hidden from Thee. Look in mercy upon Thy servant in this present need. If it be Thy will, grant wisdom to discern the cause of this trouble with the computer and the program long used, and provide help, whether by human hand or by Thine own providence, that daily labour may be resumed. If it be not Thy will to restore it presently, grant patience and contentment, and teach Thy servant Thy statutes through this small tribulation, knowing that tribulation worketh patience, and patience experience, and experience hope. Above all, keep this dear soul resting wholly upon the propitiation set forth in Christ Jesus, trusting not in any merit of our own but in His free grace alone, and finding peace that passeth all understanding. We ask this in Jesus Precious and Holy Name, our only Savior, in whom we have hope of the glory of God. Amen.
