We join together with you in bringing these physical burdens before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have come in that name.
We are grieved to hear of the pain in your legs and the gastric pain you are enduring, and also of the serious cough disease afflicting your loved one. Our bodies are frail and we feel these afflictions deeply, but we serve a God who is compassionate and who heals. We remember the promises that Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that He was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.
We pray together for you now.
Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up our dear one who is suffering with pain in the legs and with gastric pain. You know every ache and every discomfort, You see where healing is needed, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon this body, ease the pain, calm the stomach, restore strength to the legs and bring comfort and rest. We also lift up the loved one who is suffering with this serious cough disease. Lord, You are Yahweh who heals us. Exodus 15:26. We ask that You would touch the lungs and airways, remove infection and inflammation, and grant clear breathing and renewed health. We pray that You would guide doctors and give wisdom for proper treatment, and that You would grant peace to both hearts while they wait upon You. We ask that Your will be done and that Your name would be glorified through restoration and testimony. We also pray that You would draw both of you closer to Yourself through this trial, and remind you that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15. We trust You as our great Physician and our comforter. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and to not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Continue to seek Him daily, rest as you are able, and also seek wise medical care, for God often works through the hands of physicians. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect love and will, and we will continue to hold you both up before the Lord.
