We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they rightly urge us to seek the physician. So we encourage you to seek needful medical care while also telling your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, for there is an abundance of healing power in Him and His salvation.
The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes and dwells with His people, healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. The very leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue, and they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
We pray for you now, that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon you.
O gracious Father, look in compassion upon this afflicted one who suffers pain in head and stomach. Thou feedest the sparrows and Thou knowest the wants of Thy children.
