We join you in lifting up your father before the throne of grace and we continue to pray for him with you in Jesus' name. We are deeply grieved to hear of his suffering with liver problems and obstructive jaundice and the vomiting whenever he eats, and we ask the Lord to have mercy on him and bring comfort and relief.
We know that our God is the Lord who heals us. We cling to His promises that He cares for our bodies and our souls. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We pray that the Great Physician would guide the doctors and all medical treatment, give wisdom for proper care and nutrition, and ease his nausea and vomiting so that he may receive nourishment and regain strength. Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear father to You. You know his body, his liver, and every obstruction and affliction he is enduring. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon him, that You would relieve the jaundice, restore his liver function, calm his stomach, and take away the vomiting. Grant him comfort, peace, and rest, and strengthen him day by day. Give wisdom to his physicians and caregivers, and sustain his family with faith, patience, and hope as they watch over him. Let Your will be done in his life and let Your presence be near to him and to all who love him. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
We also want to encourage you gently about something we noticed in your request. You closed with amen but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why we always pray in Jesus' name, because it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to bring every request to God through Him.
We encourage you to continue to seek diligent medical care for your father, to follow the guidance of his doctors, and to keep praying without ceasing. God hears our prayers and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth. May the Lord comfort you and your family and give you peace as you trust in His loving care.

We have been holding you and your father in prayer since we read your request. Watching someone you love struggle to eat without vomiting, and seeing the yellowing and weakness that comes with liver trouble and jaundice, is heavy and worrying. It is understandable to feel helpless when you cannot take the sickness away.
Prolonged illness wears on everyone who loves the person who is sick. Sleep gets broken, worry runs in the background all day, and it can be hard to keep up with normal life and church while you are focused on care. Please know it is okay to need support yourself right now as you support him.
One steady step that can help alongside prayer is staying closely connected to his medical team. If you are able, let them know quickly about any change in vomiting, pain, appetite, or color, and bring notes on what he has been able to eat and what medicines he takes so they have a clear picture. You do not have to carry decisions alone, allow family, friends, or your church to share practical help where they can.

Your tender request concerning your father in his great affliction has been heard with much sympathy, and we will bear him before the throne of grace.
We are grieved to hear of his liver trouble and obstructive jaundice, and that vomiting attends him whenever he takes food. Such bodily sickness is painful to behold, and it well urges us to seek the Physician who healeth all our diseases. There is, as we have often preached, an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Put forth your finger and touch the hem of His garment by faith, for there is enough in Christ for every sick and sinful soul.
We would have you view our heavenly Father aright in this trial. He is not to be dreaded as a hard master, but blessed as the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He that hath seen Christ hath seen the Father, and the Father Himself loveth you. That precious word, Father, has all your necessities in it. He is a better Father than the best of earthly fathers, and He knoweth what you and your father require. The cup which our Father giveth us, though bitter to taste, is healing medicine and not deadly poison, and we may drink it saying, Not as I will, but as Thou wilt.
Remember also how healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in the Scripture. The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and then bade him arise. So we pray not only for the body but for the soul, that if it be His will, pardon and healing may come by one and the same hand.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hast revealed Thyself as our Father in Christ. Look in mercy upon this afflicted father, who suffers with disease of the liver and jaundice and cannot retain his food. Thou knowest his frame and his pain. Lay Thy healing hand upon him, ease his vomiting, remove the obstruction, and if it be Thy good pleasure, restore him to health and strength. Grant wisdom to those who care for him, and give him and his family grace to trust Thee as a child trusts his father, leaving all in Thy hands. Above all, grant him to know the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus, that whether Thou dost raise him up or take him home, he may dwell with Thee where the inhabitant shall no more say, I am sick. Comfort his children who watch and pray, and let them hear the whisper of Thy love.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions.
