We join together with you in lifting up your father before the throne of grace in this very serious time of illness with low blood pressure and obstructive jaundice. Our hearts are moved with compassion for you and for him, and we stand with you asking for the Lord's mercy, healing hand, and sustaining presence.
We are reminded of the comfort of Scripture that God is our healer and our strength in weakness. We hold fast to the promise that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and that He declares For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and we pray that He would touch your father's body, restore his blood pressure, clear the obstruction that is causing jaundice, and bring complete restoration according to His perfect will. We pray also for wisdom and skill for the doctors and medical staff who are caring for him, that God would guide their hands and decisions.
We also want to gently share something very important with you because your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And Scripture also teaches There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by calling upon His name, that we are saved and brought into relationship with God. We encourage you to put your trust in Him and to come to God in Jesus' name, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear father to You and ask for Your mercy upon him. Lord, You know his body, You formed him, and You know every detail of his low blood pressure and the jaundice that afflicts him. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon him, stabilize his body, remove the obstruction, restore liver function, and bring strength back to him. We pray that You would ease the worry and fear of his family and fill them with Your peace that passes understanding. We pray Dont you be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10 would be very real to this family right now. We ask for Your will to be done in his life and that through this trial Your name would be glorified and his faith and the faith of his loved ones would be strengthened. We thank You that You are the Lord who heals us Exodus 15:26. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek excellent medical care while trusting the Lord day by day, to cry out to Jesus continually, and to rest in His love and power. We are continuing to pray with you for your father's healing and recovery.

Your request concerning your father and his serious illness with low blood pressure and obstructive jaundice has been heard, and we have brought it before the throne of grace with you.
There is a mercy in this, that you have turned to intercession for another. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is most like the prayer of Christ who ever lives to make intercession for us. It is also exceedingly prevalent, and has in times past even stayed plagues. When you plead for your father, you are doing what love and nature and grace all prompt you to do, and the Lord will not despise it.
Do not think your prayer is too broken or too selfish to be heard. A true prayer from one who is near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer, and God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, even the prayer that seems to have no order in it because the one who prays is at his wit's end. You may only be able to cry, Lord, save my father, have mercy upon him. That cry, like the prodigal returning only that he might be saved, is not rejected by the Father. He who has seen Christ has seen the Father, and the Father Himself loves you. Viewed aright, He is not an object of dread but of gratitude and trust, for He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in Christ He is your Father also.
We would have you spread this case before the Lord and plead with Him with holy arguments, as Jacob did. Plead the covenant, plead the blood of Christ, plead the Father's own compassion. And look to Jesus as the Good Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Him. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue, to change the life blood and make the nature whole. Whether the Lord is pleased to raise your father up speedily or to deal with him according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, His healing and His pardon are joined together, and to be near to Christ is to be near to both.

O Blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Abba, Father, we bless Thee that Thou art our Father and that Thou lovest us even as Thou lovest Thy Son. We bring before Thee this dear father now laid low, suffering in body with low blood pressure and jaundice that obstructs him. Thou knowest his frame, Thou seest his pain, and Thou art very pitiful and hast compassion upon misery. We ask Thee to lay Thy healing hand upon him. Be pleased to guide the hands and minds of those who care for him, to restore his strength, to relieve the obstruction, and to raise him up again to praise Thee. If it seem good in Thy sight, grant him healing in this life that he may tell of Thy goodness. And above all, let the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings, that being pardoned through the blood of Christ he may know himself Thy beloved child, and may cry, Abba, Father, with a new heart. Sustain his family, keep them from evil, and keep them in perfect peace as they wait upon Thee. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight. Hear our staggering prayer for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
