Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for ## for their lung issues, for *** heart issue, and quick healing, and against lustful thoughTs

We join you in giving thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for every good and perfect gift comes from above and His steadfast love endures forever. We praise Him with you for His mercy that is new every morning.

We lift up your request for good rest before the Father. We pray that He will grant you peaceful and restorative sleep, for He gives sleep to His loved ones as it is written in Psalm 127:2. We ask that He quiet your mind and body and let you lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make us dwell in safety in Psalm 4:8.

We also bring before the Lord the health needs you mentioned, including your own health and the loved ones on your heart. We pray for the one with lung issues and the one with a heart issue, asking for the Lord's healing hand to be upon them. We pray for quick healing and complete restoration, believing the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also pray as in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.

We want to address with love and truth your request for help against lustful thoughts. This is a battle many face, and God calls us to purity and holiness. Jesus taught in Matthew 5:28 that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. We are called to flee sexual immorality as in 1 Corinthians 6:18, and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as in 2 Corinthians 10:5. We encourage you to flee from temptation, to guard your eyes and mind, and to fill your mind with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report as in Philippians 4:8. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9. We pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you to walk in purity, whether as a single person called to abstain until marriage between a man and a woman, or within marriage where intimacy is to be honored, and that you will find victory through Christ.

We noticed you prayed to the Lord and we rejoice in your faith, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. We encourage you to always come in His precious name.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for Your goodness and Your endless mercy. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You grant our dear one deep and peaceful rest and renewed strength. Touch the bodies of those we have lifted up, heal lungs and heal hearts, breathe Your life into them and bring quick and complete healing according to Your will. Cleanse our minds and hearts from lustful thoughts, create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us, help us to flee temptation and to walk in holiness by the power of Your Spirit. Forgive us where we have sinned in thought, word and deed, and help us to fix our eyes on Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Thank you for reaching out and for beginning with thankfulness even while you are carrying so much. We hear your heart for good rest and for the health of those you love, especially the lung and heart concerns you mentioned, and your honest desire to walk free from lustful thoughts.

It is a lot to hold at once, and we want you to know we are praying for you and for each person you named.

For the health needs, we encourage you to stay close to trusted medical care alongside prayer, keeping doctors informed and following their guidance as you wait for healing. And for rest, it helps to let someone close know how you are sleeping so you are not carrying that alone.

With unwanted thoughts, many find it helps to turn to the Lord right in the moment the thought comes, and to have one faithful, mature believer you can be honest with for steady accountability and prayer. God is patient as He shapes our desires to want what honors Him.

Father, thank You for Your goodness to this family. We ask You to grant deep, restoring rest, to touch each body that is struggling, especially lungs and heart, and bring healing according to Your will. Guard this mind and heart, give strength to turn from what does not honor You and to rest in Your grace. Lead with wisdom and peace day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every mercy flows from His gracious hand and His thoughts toward His people are precious and without number. How great is the sum of them, and how high are His thoughts above our thoughts, as the heavens are higher than the earth. We bless Him that He is good even when our rest is broken and our bodies are weak.

We bring before the Lord your prayer for good rest. May He who gives sleep to His beloved grant you quiet nights and a heart that lies still before Jesus. It is a blessed thing when we can say, when I awake, I am still with You, for holy thoughts of God place us near to God. May He keep your mind stayed upon Him, that you may rest not only in body but in soul.

We pray also for those dear to you whose health you have laid upon our hearts, and for those who suffer with lung trouble and with the heart. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, for the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and when the Sun of Righteousness arises there is healing in His wings. We ask the great Physician to lay His hand upon these afflicted ones, to ease their breathing, to strengthen the heart that labors, and to grant quick healing according to His wise and tender will. We pray that low thoughts of God may not hold them in fear, but that high thoughts of His mercy may beget hope, and that pardon and healing may be known together, for He forgives and He heals.

And concerning lustful thoughts, we pray with you that the Lord would search you and know your heart, try you and know your thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way and lead you in the way everlasting. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God, and it is only by a new heart that we perceive His presence and behold Him. Jesus perceives the thoughts of the heart, and nothing is hidden from Him. Bring those thoughts at once to Him, for a word from Christ coming home to the heart brings healing to conscience and imagination, to desire and affection. Ask Him to take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, to create in you a clean heart and to keep your spiritual eye and ear open to Him. May you be conformed to His thoughts rather than your own, and may you look to Him for all things, for His heart is carried by the faith looks of His children.

May the Lord grant you grace to walk in purity, to find your delight in Him, and to prove that His healing leaves penetrate the mind and search the heart, dividing between what is of the flesh and what is of the Spirit. We pray that you and those you love may be kept, healed, and made whole by His pardoning hand, to the praise of His grace.
