We are lifting you up in prayer today and we thank you for sharing this need with us. We understand the worry of waiting for hours for a call back about something as important as your food stamps card and the address change for delivery, and we rejoice with you that God has already made a way through the shelter and the food pantry to provide for you in the meantime. We will keep you in our prayers for continued provision and for that phone call to come through.
We are reminded that our ultimate provider is not an agency but our heavenly Father who sees every need. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:31-33 says Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Psalm 46:1 also comforts us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We notice you spoke of God making a way, and we want to gently remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and to all of His grace. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus that we can come boldly before God in prayer and receive His provision and salvation, so we always pray in His name.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your faithfulness to this dear one. Thank You for moving the shelter to provide food from the pantry and for showing that You are already at work. We ask that You move on the hearts of those at the office to call back quickly and to make the address change without delay so that the food stamps card will be delivered to the right place. Give peace while waiting and guard their heart from anxiety. Provide for every daily need for food, shelter, and stability, and let them feel Your very present help. Help them to keep seeking You first and to trust that You know what they need. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. We are standing with you and trusting God with you for His perfect provision day by day.

We have heard your prayer and have brought it before the Lord with thanksgiving that He has already made a way for shelter and for daily bread through the food pantry. In His providence He often suffers His people to live from hand to mouth, giving manna in the morning and again at evening, that we may learn to wait patiently upon Him and to trust not in the arm of man but in the Lord Jehovah in whom is everlasting strength.
We know the trial of waiting when hours pass and no call comes, and how anxiety unfits the heart to meet its difficulty. Yet our God is a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious unto us, and His way, though it be in the sea and His footsteps not always known, is ever a holy and a merciful way. He has chosen His people in the furnace of affliction, and there in the furnace He teaches us more of His Word and of His faithful care than we learn elsewhere.
We pray now for you, that the God of all grace would move those who hold your card to answer speedily and to change the address without further hindrance, that your daily provision may be delivered in due season. We ask that He would keep you in peace while you wait, and write His law more deeply upon your heart, so that whether in closing markets or in winning them, in plenty or in want, you may still delight to do His will and to rest in the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation.
May the Lord open your eyes to see His hand in these small providences and keep you looking for everything from Him, for He is your All in All. We will continue to remember you, that He who has begun to provide will not fail you, and that you may be kept hoping in His mercy and fearing His name.
