Thank you for sharing this need and allowing us to pray with you. We are grateful to hear that God has already provided food for you for now through someone He sent to help, and we join you in thanking Him for that kindness.
We understand the worry that comes with waiting for the card to arrive and the concern about it being sent to the former shelter address. God sees these practical needs. From the beginning Scripture shows Him as the one who provides food for His people, first giving the plants and grains and fruit, and after the flood also providing meat, and later showing how He sustained Noah and all those living things in the ark for more than a year with enough food and care. He knows what it takes to sustain life day by day, and He knows your need for daily bread and for a safe place to stay.
This time of waiting is difficult, and the Bible often encourages us to wait upon the Lord and upon His timing, confident that He will work. It compares waiting to a farmer who waits with patience for the precious fruit of the earth, trusting for the harvest in its season. God is not forgetful or late, and He calls us to be patient and to establish our hearts as we trust Him to keep His promises and to provide.
We also thank Him that He has made the greatest provision for us through Jesus Christ, who takes away our sin and guilt and gives us His righteousness so that we can stand before God forgiven and holy and redeemed by His blood, and that He shelters us as His children.
We are praying for you now, that the Lord will shelter you and care for you, that He will guide the delivery of the card and resolve the address concern, that He will continue to supply food for each day and give you peace while you wait, and that you will sense His nearness and faithful care in every detail. May He remind you that you are seen and loved, and may He provide for all that you need according to His wisdom and mercy in Christ.
