We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for His steadfast love endures forever and His mercies are new every morning. We agree with you in prayer for good rest, for the health of your loved ones, for healing of lungs and for the heart issue you mentioned, and for quick and complete healing according to His will.
We bring your request for rest before the Father, for He gives sleep to His beloved as it says in Psalm 127:2 and Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and He will give you rest. We pray that He will quiet your mind and body at night, guard your heart and grant you deep, restorative sleep. We also lift up those you love who are suffering with lung issues and heart issues. We know the Lord is our healer who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3 and who promises in Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health and heal wounds. We pray that He will lay His healing hand upon each one, strengthen lungs, restore the heart, ease breathing, and bring quick healing if it be His will, and give wisdom to doctors and peace to families as they wait upon Him. We also remember James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up.
We want to lovingly address your request for victory against lustful thoughts, for this is an area where God calls us to holiness and purity. Our Lord Jesus taught in Matthew 5:28 that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, showing how seriously God views our thought life. We are called to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ in 2 Corinthians 10:5. This means we do not entertain or nurture lustful thoughts but turn from them immediately, confess them, and set our minds on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report as we are exhorted in Philippians 4:8. We encourage you to guard your eyes and heart, to avoid whatever triggers temptation, to fill your mind daily with Scripture, and to walk in the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. When we do fall short, we have promise in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We noticed your prayer was addressed to the Lord, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We encourage you to come boldly to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, believing in His death and resurrection, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead as in Romans 10:9, for this is the foundation of our prayers and our hope.
We pray together now, Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy toward us. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ for peaceful and deep rest for our brother or sister, for You to calm every anxious thought and renew strength. We lift up each loved one mentioned, especially those with lung and heart needs, and ask for Your healing power to touch their bodies, to open airways, to strengthen hearts, to restore health quickly according to Your perfect will. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing where lustful thoughts have taken hold, and we ask for Your Spirit to empower victory, purity and a mind stayed on Christ. Help us to flee temptation, to take every thought captive, and to walk in holiness. We trust Your grace to sustain us and Your love to keep us. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We bring your requests before the throne of grace and pray that the Lord will grant you that rest which Christ Himself promises. He says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, given when we come to Jesus, and a perfect rest, and also a growing rest as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. We pray that you may know rest not only in sleep, but rest unto your soul, that even in labour and service you may find rest on the wing, as you trust Him fully, for trust and you shall rest. May the Lord keep your mind stayed upon Him and conform your thoughts to His thoughts, which are higher than our thoughts as the heavens are higher than the earth, and precious, constant, kind and tender toward His people.
We lift up to the Lord those you love whose names are upon your heart, and those who suffer with lung trouble and with the heart. We pray for His healing hand to be upon them according to His wise and perfect will. Scripture tells us He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue, and pardon and healing often go together, for when the Sun of Righteousness arises there is healing in His wings. We ask the Lord to grant relief, to strengthen the lungs and the heart, to give skill to those who care for the sick, and to grant quick healing if it be His will, and in all things patience, peace and confidence in His goodness.
We also join you in praying against lustful thoughts. The Lord perceives our thoughts and calls us to be holy as He is holy. We pray that He will cleanse the mind and heart, that you may be kept from evil thoughts and that your thoughts may be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. May you learn of Him who is meek and lowly in heart, and so find rest from inward struggle, walking in purity and in the power of His Spirit, adorning your life with those things which lead the thoughts aright.
May the Lord grant you assurance of forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is healing and pardon in Him. We pray that you will continue to cast all your care upon Him, knowing that His thoughts toward you are gracious and that when you awake you are still with Him. We ask these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our rest and our healer. Amen.
