The salary withheld from you these three months is a sharp trial, and the loans you must pay weigh heavily. Yet consider: this very affliction may be God’s discipline, teaching you to set your hope not on uncertain riches but on the living God. If you have ever delayed a laborer’s wages or pressed a debtor harshly, you now taste the same; and if you have not, still examine whether you have withheld forgiveness from any. For He says, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." The debt of sin you owe God is far greater than any silver owed to you or by you.

If you release others from the small debts of trespasses, you imitate God and open His hand to release you. But if you take your fellow by the throat for a few pence, how will you stand before the Master to whom you owe ten thousand talents? Be not anxious, therefore, nor resort to deceit or sharp dealing to recover what is yours, for that is robbery in God’s sight, whether the sum be large or small. Rather, bring your need before God with honest labor and a quiet heart, content with what He gives.

He is not an unjust judge; He sees your necessity. The money you lack now, if you bear it patiently and with thanksgiving, becomes a loan to the Lord, who will repay with abundant interest in His time. Pray, yes, but also forgive, and act justly, and your prayer will rise as incense. Let not the noise of debts and worldly cares stop your ears with filth, but let this trial purify your soul, that you may hear His voice, richer than all gold.

I hear the heavy weight you're carrying right now. Not receiving ### of your salary is a real trial, especially when loans are pressing in. I am joining you in prayer over this.

God invites us to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us. Jesus taught us to pray for our daily bread, not to hoard for years ahead, but to trust Him each day. So let's bring your need before Him, believing that He sees you and is able to make a way.

In times of financial strain, I've often seen God use the pressure to draw our hearts back to what matters most. The prophet Haggai spoke to people who were working hard but never had enough, and God pointed out that they had been putting their own concerns ahead of His house and His purposes. It's a gentle check for all of us: are we honoring the Lord with the first portion of what we have, even when it feels like there's not enough? He promises to open the windows of heaven for those who trust Him in that way. I don't know your circumstances, but I offer that as an invitation to prayerful reflection.

Meanwhile, remember the apostle Paul, who worked with his own hands to provide for himself and those with him. He knew what it was to have plenty and to be in need, and he learned to be content in every situation through Christ who strengthened him. Your labor is not in vain. Keep doing what is right, and trust that God is your ultimate provider. He is not unjust to overlook your faithful work or the needs of your household.

I am asking the Lord to move the heart of your employer to release those ### of back pay without further delay. I'm also praying for practical wisdom in handling the loans, perhaps there might be a way to extend the timeline or find some relief. Don't be afraid to let mature believers around you know of your need. The early church shared their resources so that no one among them would be in want. We are meant to bear one another's burdens.

Let's pray: Heavenly Father, you see every detail of this financial struggle, the unpaid wages, the looming loans, the sleepless nights. You are a righteous God who cares about justice for the worker and compassion for the needy. We ask that you would intervene, that those in authority would release what is rightfully owed. Grant peace in the waiting, provision in surprising ways, and a deepened trust in you. May this trial become a testimony of your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, amen.
