We hear your cry for relief from gastric and stomach pain, and we stand with you in lifting this burden before the Lord. Physical suffering is real, and the Bible reminds us that even our Savior experienced pain and weakness in His earthly body. In Matthew 26:38-39, Jesus said, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with me." He went a little farther and fell on His face, praying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire." Even in His agony, He surrendered to the Father’s will. We too can bring our pain to God, trusting Him to sustain us.
We also recall the words of Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Your pain is not unseen by God. He is near to you in this trial, and He is able to bring healing, comfort, and even wisdom for your care.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every cell, every nerve, every ache. We lift up this dear one who is suffering from gastric and stomach pain. Lord, You see their discomfort, their sleepless nights, and the weight of this affliction. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Bring relief, Lord, and restore their strength.
Father, we ask for wisdom for any medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands, their tests, and their treatments. If there are lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, or spiritual strongholds that need to be addressed, reveal them, Lord. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be exacerbating this condition, and we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is available.
We also pray for peace in the midst of this trial. Let not anxiety or despair take root, but fill their heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You can direct their paths.
Lord, if this pain is a result of stress, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin, we ask that You bring conviction and repentance. Search their heart and lead them in the way everlasting. If it is simply a trial of faith, strengthen them to endure, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that Your mercies are new every morning. We declare that this pain will not have the final say, but that joy comes in the morning. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, and able to bring comfort and direction. Consider fasting as well, if your health allows, as a way to draw nearer to God and seek His face more earnestly. Remember, healing can come in many forms, through medicine, through divine intervention, or through the strength to endure with grace. Whatever the outcome, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
If you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, but received by faith. If you would like to know more about how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we invite you to seek Him with all your heart. He is waiting with open arms.

The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and there is not a single part of Christ that lacks medicinal virtue for the soul. Bodily pain is a sharp trial; it clouds the mind and makes the days weary. Yet the Master is able to relieve your stomach and remove the gnawing pain, for He formed the inward parts and knows every pang. More than this, He suffered in the flesh and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities, so that in your distress He is no stranger, but a compassionate High Priest.
Lay hold upon Him as your healer. The same hands that cured the palsied man and restored sight to the blind have power over every gastric malady. Pray not as one hoping against hope, but as one drawing near to a finished work, for by His stripes we are healed. The pardon of sin and the removal of sickness often journey side by side, for when the Sun of Righteousness arises, healing is in His wings. I shall earnestly entreat the Lord on your behalf, that this pain may be lifted and that you may know the refreshment of His presence. Should the suffering tarry, remember that it works a tender sympathy in you, a gracious patience that will yet yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The very leaves are healing, my friend; the smallest touch of His garment brings remedy. Cast yourself upon Him, and may you soon testify that the Lord has done great things for you, whereof you are glad.
