Prayer request

Beloved of All
Feeling mentally drained and hoping for some prayers to get through the day we have a long travel today to move to another shelter so my ### keep stalking and calling the police or something he did it once but please pray for us plus we gotta carry some bags in 6 or 5 steps

We hear your exhaustion and fear, and we come before the Lord with heavy hearts on your behalf. The weight of mental and emotional strain, combined with the threat of someone who refuses to leave you in peace, is more than any person should have to bear. But we know that our God is a refuge for the weary, a strong tower for the oppressed, and a shield for those who trust in Him.

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not just for eternity, it is for today, for strength, for peace, and for protection.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is carrying such a heavy burden. Lord, You see the exhaustion in their spirit, the fear in their heart, and the weight of the journey ahead. We ask that You would be their strength when they are weak, their peace when they are afraid, and their shield against the one who seeks to harm them. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Father, be that refuge for them today.

Lord, we pray for safe travel, every mile, every moment. Protect them from harm, from accidents, and from the schemes of the enemy. Psalm 121:7-8 says, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." We claim that promise over them today. Give them the physical strength to carry their burdens, and surround them with people who will help lighten the load.

Father, we also come against the one who is stalking and harassing them. We rebuke this spirit of fear and oppression in the name of Jesus. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this individual would be stopped in their tracks, that their plans would be thwarted, and that they would be held accountable for their actions. We ask for divine intervention, whether through law enforcement, a change of heart, or Your supernatural protection.

Lord, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Even in the midst of chaos, let them feel Your presence. Remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1) and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give them moments of rest, even if brief, and let them know that You are fighting for them.

Finally, Father, we pray for provision. Moving is costly, emotionally, physically, and financially. Open doors of blessing and favor for them, and let them find stability and safety in their new shelter. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We declare over them today: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). May they walk in the confidence of Your protection and the assurance of Your love.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, remember that Jesus invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You are not alone in this. The Lord is your helper; what can man do to you? (Hebrews 13:6). Keep pressing forward, one step at a time, knowing that God is with you. If you have not already, consider reaching out to local authorities or a trusted ministry for additional support, they can be instruments of God’s protection in your life.

We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God will bring you through this season with His strength and grace. You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten.

We can only imagine how drained you must feel, mentally, physically, and emotionally, carrying your bags up all those steps while looking over your shoulder. Moving to another shelter is a heavy step, but it’s also a brave one. You’re doing exactly what you need to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.

Before anything else, please know this: if you are ever in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right away. You can also find free, confidential support and a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained advocates can help you think through safety plans, connect you with local resources, and walk with you through the legal and practical weight of what you’re carrying.

We’re praying about the journey itself, for strength to manage those bags on those steps, for a clear mind when exhaustion closes in, and for a shield of protection around you as you travel. It’s so understandable to feel mentally worn down right now; fear and constant vigilance drain us in ways others don’t always see. What you’re facing is real, and you are not alone.

One practical thing: if you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a domestic violence advocate at the shelter or through the helpline. They can help you plan each step of this move, sort through the police involvement, and build a longer-term safety net. Even just having someone else aware of your location and patterns can lift a little of that weight.

You are not weak for being tired. You are courageous for continuing to move forward. We’re standing with you from a distance.

Please be safe. We’re praying now:

Lord Jesus, wrap this dear person in Your protection today. Give them steady hands and renewed energy for the travel, ease the mental fog, and let them feel Your nearness. Frustrate any plans made against them. Surround them with helpers who can offer wisdom and practical support. In Your name we ask for peace, endurance, and safety. Amen.

You are carrying not only bags up those steps but a heavy heart, and yet the Lord knows every step of your flight. Under His wings you shall find a shelter more secure than any earthly refuge; He shall cover you with His feathers, and as a hen gathers her chicks from the storm, so the Almighty will brood over you in loving protection. This is no distant watch, there is homeliness, relationship, heart-working in it, so that even in strange walls you may feel at home beneath the shadow of the Almighty.

You have need of Divine protection tonight, and you shall have it, for He has promised, and He cannot lie. He who travels on the King’s highway, trusting in Providence and not leaning on your own understanding, moves with angels keeping charge over all your ways. This protection is perpetual; it does not end when you reach the shelter, nor fail when you climb those steps with weary limbs. The Lord has charged His angels concerning you, and they will bear you up.

Yet what is your truest shelter? Nothing between you and instant destruction save Christ. Is the purple robe of His atonement wrapped around you? Have you crept into the wounds of Jesus, hiding in the cleft of the Rock till the tempest be overpast? If He is your shelter, you are safe, for He is enough. Rest in Him, and God's protection will be wonderfully spread over you, even as you face this long day and all the unknown that lies beyond. I pray the Lord will quiet your mind, renew your strength, and make your path plain, that you may know the peace which comes to those who trust under His wings.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The burdens you carry today are indeed many, and I do not speak only of the bags you must lift up those steps. The greater weight is in your soul, the exhaustion of constant fear and moving, the stalker who harasses you. But Christ calls out to those who labor and are heavy laden, promising rest. Sin and the malice of others lay heavy burdens upon us, but His yoke is light. Do not despair. The prophet says iniquity is a talent of lead, yet grace makes even the heaviest load bearable.

You do not need a long journey or money to find strength. The will alone, turned toward God, brings relief. Cast off anxious thoughts that breed only more weariness, and in their place put on long-suffering. A soul that is long-suffering is like a strong city, unshaken by sudden trials. A spark falling into deep water is quenched; so every fear that falls upon a patient heart soon vanishes. This is not from your own power, but born of love, and God supplies it freely.

Remember that you are not meant to carry these burdens alone. Paul commands us to bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. You have asked for prayers, and the church will weep with you, and by sharing the weight, it becomes lighter. Yet you too must be careful not to add to your own load by recalling old injuries or rehearsing the wrongs done to you. Do not let your mind dwell there, for such tattling with your own thoughts can destroy peace. Christ said judge not, that you be not judged; leave this man’s deeds to God, and do not let your heart be consumed.

The heavy burdens of strictness that wicked men impose, they themselves will not move with a finger, but God abridges our trials. Death itself is conquered, the devil fallen. If we are vigilant, what seems impossible becomes light. The travel, the shelter, the steps, the hiding, these are temporary shadows, but His peace is eternal. Endure patiently, and let your prayer rise continually. He who allowed His saints to suffer yet gave them strength in the midst will not abandon you now. Bear reproof if it comes, bear weariness, and you will attain the good things promised.

The exhaustion you describe touches every part of you, body, mind, and spirit. When the body is worn down and the mind is weighed with worry, the soul feels it too. Scripture reminds us that a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit drains strength. Right now, it’s no small thing that you’re carrying heavy bags and facing long travel while also carrying the heavy weight of being pursued. That kind of strain can make anyone feel as though they have nothing left.

But what you need today isn’t simply a burst of physical energy or a change in emotion. Those things, by themselves, are fleeting. The deepest refreshment comes from a different source, a love that isn’t self-serving or based on feelings, but one that gives sacrificially. That’s the nature of God’s love for you. It isn’t like the grasping, fearful kind that would stalk or harass. It’s a steady, preserving love that sees your need and moves toward you with real provision.

In moments like this, faith doesn’t have to be grand or polished. Jesus said that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. The mountain today may be the journey, the bags, the fear of what that person might do next. It may simply be the sinking feeling that you can’t take another step. The kind of faith that moves those things often grows out of quiet, persistent dependence, prayer and a deliberate setting aside of panic, even if only inwardly. It’s not something you can work up on your own, but a gift that comes when you ask.

I will be praying that you find supernatural strength for the physical demands, each flight of stairs, each mile traveled. I’ll also pray for your mind, that the mental drain would lift as you fix your thoughts on the truth that you are seen and sheltered by God. He knows your needs before you speak them, and He is not indifferent to the cruelty of others. May His Spirit give you the calm that defies circumstances, and may every step remind you that you are moving toward safety under His care.
