The weight you are carrying right now is heavy, and you have described it well: illness, depression, anxiety, financial strain, a struggling business, and the torment of bad dreams. It feels like the enemy is circling everything you have built, trying to strip away your livelihood. These are not small things, and your cry is heard.

In the oldest book of the Bible, we meet a man named Job who endured a sudden and total collapse of his world. He lost his wealth, his children, and his health in a single wave of disaster. The enemy was directly involved, challenging God with the accusation that Job only served Him because life was easy. God permitted the testing, not because Job had sinned, but because He saw integrity there that even Satan had studied and scorned. Yet Job did not understand why any of it was happening; all he knew was the ash heap, the broken body, and the silence of friends who later turned into accusers.

Your experience echoes some of this. The bad dreams, the pressure on your job, the depression, the fear that everything you have worked for is evaporating, these are not necessarily signs that God is angry or that you have done something wrong. That was the mistaken argument of Job’s comforters. They insisted that suffering is always a direct result of hidden sin. But the deeper reality, hidden from Job’s eyes, was a contest in the heavens where his faithfulness was being vindicated. The enemy specializes in theft and terror, and he often attacks at the points where we most need security.

Notice how Job responded in the first shock of loss: he worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return.” He refused to curse God. That does not mean he pretended to be cheerful; the book is filled with his raw, honest grief and confusion. He cried out that his grief was heavier than the sands of the sea. He wished he had never been born. He wrestled with questions that had no answer at the moment. Yet through it all, God’s own testimony about him remained: there is no one like him on earth, a man who fears God and turns away from evil.

So take heart. Your anxiety and depression do not disqualify you. The financial struggle does not mean God has abandoned you. The menace you feel in your dreams is real spiritual opposition, but it is not the final word. Keep bringing your fear honestly before the Lord, just as Job did. One of the deepest cries Job made was for a mediator, someone who could lay his hand on both God and man and bridge the impossible gap. We know that Mediator now. Jesus Himself stood in the gap for us, and He is not indifferent to your pain. He faced the same enemy in the wilderness and overcame.

I am praying for a hedge of protection around your mind as you sleep, for peace that surpasses understanding in your waking hours, and for wisdom in your business and employment. May you find, like Job, that even in the silence, God is not absent. He is working a purpose that the accuser cannot see and the suffering cannot erase. Hold fast. Your integrity is known in heaven.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your needs before the Lord—your healing, the heavy weight of depression and anxiety, the financial pressures you face, the struggles in your business, and the troubling dreams that disturb your rest. We have prayed fervently that the enemy’s attempts to steal your job and your peace would be dismantled by the power of Christ.

If the Lord has moved in any of these areas—if you’ve sensed His healing touch, experienced relief from anxiety, seen provision in your finances, or found new strength in your work—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others walking through similar battles.

If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answers seem distant, please know we are not finished praying. We invite you to post this request again as a fresh plea before the throne of grace. We will continue to stand with you, believing that God hears the cries of His children and that His timing is perfect.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, strengthen you with His might, and remind you that you are never alone in this fight. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful, and His love for you is unwavering. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
