Prayer request

Please pray God will be with me and my son ###. Keep us safe going and coming. Pray God's traveling grace and mercy be with us. Ask God to be with us. In the mighty name of Jesus please keep us in the mighty hands of God.

We lift up you and your son before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s protection and presence as you travel. The Bible assures us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." We claim this promise over your lives, trusting that God’s angels are encamped around you, guarding your steps.

Father in Heaven, we ask You to go before and his son, making their paths straight and shielding them from harm. Let Your traveling grace and mercy surround them like a hedge of protection, as You did for the Israelites in the wilderness. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray for alertness, wisdom, and safe arrival at every destination. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We also encourage you to remember that God’s protection is not just physical but spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." So we pray for spiritual armor over you both, helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shield of faith, sword of the Spirit, and feet shod with the readiness of the gospel of peace.

If there are any areas of your life where you may have strayed from God’s will, we gently encourage you to examine your heart and repent, for the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Trust in His mercy and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. May He bless you and your son abundantly, drawing you both closer to Him with each step you take. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We are lifting you and your son up together with you, asking our faithful God to watch over every trip, every errand, every arrival and departure. What you’ve asked for, traveling grace, mercy, and the shelter of His mighty hands, is exactly where we want to be, too, and we are glad to stand with you in that prayer.

We know how travel days can stir up that low hum of worry, especially when it’s someone you love. We find a quiet steadiness in remembering that the Lord who never slumbers watches over the going out and the coming in; His attention doesn’t drift. You’re not asking casually, you’re asking with a mother’s heart, and that matters to Him. One simple practice that often helps us is whispering a quick “into Your hands” the moment you settle into the car or step onto the platform, just a breath of trust to anchor the journey.

Father, thank You for this mother’s heart and for her son. Keep them both secure in Your mighty hands as they travel. Let Your traveling mercy guard their steps, their vehicle, and every path they take. Surround them with Your presence so they never feel alone. We ask for peace to replace any fear, and for safe arrivals again and again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The God of our mercy has gone before us. His rule for the future is His action and conduct in the past, He never changes. How He must have loved us, that knowing what our needs would be, foreseeing the abundance of our sins, He laid by in store the Divine Atonement, the sacred Propitiation by which all our sins should be put away! Here was mercy laid by in the Covenant, everything that our necessities could require, treasured up for poor mendicants before we ever became beggars, or knew that we were in need. No sooner did we long to come, no sooner did we feel that we would gladly come if we dared, but felt that we were all unfit to come, than His swift feet of mercy brought Him to His children, and the Grace was given for which we scarcely dared to hope.

By the Grace of God, we are what we are, the greatness of His mercy to us convinces us of our own unworthiness, and the more the glory of His Grace is revealed to our souls, the humbler we lie at His feet. Could any but a divine motive actuate the Divine Architect? He creates that He may display His own perfections. A man may be a garden because he is planted by the rivers of God’s living waters; here let us stand, and we shall be safe. The dry tree by Divine Grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up.

It is Divine tenderness which bears with our obstinacy, Divine tenderness which plies us with incessant expostulation and invitation. Grace be to us, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, that peace must be based upon Divine Grace. Not drowning us with floods of His Grace, but handing it out to us as we are able to take it. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it, is the Lord’s gracious exhortation and promise. You who beg at God’s door of Mercy, from His mercy draw a plea, and ask Him still for more. His mercies are new every morning, the light in which the aged Christian regards a mercy is, in some respects, a different light from that in which the young man regards it, but the babe in Grace is very grateful and sees that the mercy is very precious. I am sure that all along, from sin’s pit to Heaven’s gate, without a break the whole road is paved with Divine Grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for traveling grace and mercy, and rightly so, for without the mercy of God we can do nothing, not take a single step, nor draw a single breath, without His upholding hand. But consider: what is the purpose of your journey? The Apostle Paul traveled often, yet not for idle pleasure or profitless wandering, but for necessary and urgent ends, to impart some spiritual gift, to establish believers in the faith, to fill up what was wanting. Even then he labored, often on foot, often weary, and counted not his own safety but the work of the Gospel. Our Lord Himself journeyed, but He had no place to lay His head, and when He went from place to place, He did so in humility, not seeking luxury. If we ask God’s protection, let us also examine our hearts: do we travel for vanity, for show, for some worldly business that feeds only the flesh? Or do we go about the work that God has given us in simplicity and trust?

Do not think that the narrow road to life can be walked with ease and comfort. Many now seek a broad, smooth way, with every accommodation for the body, but that road ends in destruction. When you pray for safety, do not desire a path free from all hardship, but rather grace to endure whatever the Lord appoints, and to keep your eyes fixed on the home above. The mercy you ask for is not a promise of no storms, but the sure strength to faint not in the midst of them. As Paul said, “Seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we faint not.” His power is made perfect in weakness, and His travelling grace carries you not around every trial, but through the midst of them with your soul anchored in Him.

Commend yourself and your son into those mighty hands not for a painless journey, but for a faithful one. Pray that you may be filled with His company along the way, as Paul longed to be filled with the love of the saints. Ask not only to be kept safe from harm, but to be kept from sin, from harsh judgments, from the hidden things of shame. Entrust yourselves wholly to the invincible might of the Crucified, for He who spared not His own Son will with Him freely give you all that is needful for the road. Travel then as those who belong to heaven, and let your every step be a witness to His grace.
