Prayer request

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness, even as we lift up this prayer request. First, we give thanks for the gift of rest, for the Lord Himself invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest (Matthew 11:28). We pray for deep, refreshing sleep for you and for baby , that their bodies and minds would be renewed by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we stand in faith for baby ’s healing. Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this precious little one. We ask You to touch every part of their body that needs restoration, whether seen or unseen. Strengthen their immune system, calm any discomfort, and let Your healing power flow through them. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and caregivers involved, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision (James 1:5).

For , we pray for Your favor to surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Open doors that no one can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). Whether in their work, relationships, or daily life, let Your light shine upon them, and grant them grace in the eyes of those around them. We also ask for clarity and direction regarding the "new " mentioned in this prayer. If this refers to a new opportunity, season, or relationship, we pray it would align with Your perfect will. If it involves a marriage or courtship, we ask that it be grounded in Your Word, honoring You as the foundation (Ephesians 5:22-33). If it is a new job, ministry, or path, we pray for Your guidance and provision every step of the way (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in this situation. Your Word tells us that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to walk in that love today. We also rebuke any unconfessed sin or disobedience that may be hindering these prayers, for You are faithful to forgive us and cleanse us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). If there are areas of life not surrendered to You, we encourage repentance and a turning back to Your ways.

We must also gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all prayer and the source of true peace and healing.

Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. We pray for patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith as we wait on You. Strengthen our hearts to trust in You even when we cannot see the outcome (Hebrews 11:1). We declare that You are the God who heals, provides, and makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're so glad you reached out, and it's beautiful that your prayer starts with thanking God for His goodness, even before you name your needs. That takes real trust, and we're encouraged by it.

It sounds like you're carrying a lot right now: a baby who needs healing, someone dear to you hoping for favor and a fresh open door, and your own need for deep, restoring rest. Those things are deeply connected. When a little one is unwell, sleep becomes a luxury, and days blur together in care and concern. We want you to know that your weariness matters to God as much as the baby's body and as much as the breakthrough you're asking for. He does not ask you to pour out from an empty well.

With the baby's healing, please don't hesitate to lean on trusted medical help alongside prayer. God works through doctors and wisdom, and caring for your child's body is part of loving them well. As for rest, even small, deliberate moments can help: a short nap when someone else holds the baby, a quiet cup of tea before the next feeding, or simply saying yes when a friend offers to bring a meal or sit with the child for an hour. Sometimes rest comes not just from sleep, but from letting others carry the weight with you for a little while. We're not meant to do any of this alone.

We're joining you as you trust God for that baby to be well, for favor to find that other person, and for fresh strength for your own body and spirit. God sees you, right in the middle of the night and in every waking hour.

Lord, thank You that You are close to the weary and the worried. We ask for Your healing hand on this precious baby, restore full health, calm any discomfort, and give wisdom to all who care for the child. We lift up that dear person needing favor and a new open door; You know the details perfectly, and we ask You to make a way. And for this one praying, grant real, physical rest and a quiet confidence that You are carrying what feels heavy. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

That cry for rest is heard by the very One who gave the invitation, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Note well that this is a present rest, not a distant hope, but a gift to be received now, upon coming to Him. The world’s repose is a fitful slumber haunted by dreams of toil, but the rest of Jesus is the unburdening of the soul, the rolling away of sin’s condemnation. You seek good rest by making request to the Lord, yet do not forget that the truest rest is found not merely in the cessation of activity but in the peace of a conscience purged and a heart yielded to the Savior’s easy yoke. Even in the care you carry for this little one and for your loved one, you may rest upon the wing, like a bird that sleeps in flight, for labor done unto Christ is no longer drudgery, it is the repose of a garden that bears fruit while it rests.

Concerning this dear baby, remember that the leaves of the tree which is for the healing of the nations are not a small thing. The very least virtue that proceeds from Christ is charged with restoring power. Pardon and healing are woven together by the pierced hand that grants both. As the leaves of that celestial tree change the very lifeblood and make the nature new, so a single touch from the Great Physician can renew the frame of this little one. Bring the child in the arms of your faith, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and His cures are complete. Ask, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

As to favor, let this be your sweet solace: the eternal God is your refuge and your abiding place. Where He dwells, there is favor that goes before and prepares the way. “The God of my mercy shall prevent me,” sang the psalmist, and this prevenient grace is your portion. When the Lord shows favor, it is with His whole heart, a savor of rest that secures the covenant blessing. Do not set your mind upon the new thing as though it were a lottery of chance. Instead, rest in the fact that He who begins at Jerusalem, right at the center of need and unworthiness, has His own order for your life. That fresh blessing, that new “something” you entreat, is already kept for you by the hand that bled to make it yours. Return unto your rest, O soul, by trusting simply and utterly. Trust, and you shall rest; rest, and you shall see the favor of the Lord unfold in the very place where you now stand.
