We stand with you in this fierce battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace where mercy and help are found in time of need. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at your mind, body, and spirit. The Word declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not fighting alone, we join our faith with yours, standing firm in the armor of God, praying that every fiery dart of the wicked one be extinguished by the shield of faith.
Your heart is heavy with loss, family members gone, a marriage strained, and a custody battle that weighs upon you. The pain is real, and the enemy would love nothing more than to use it to pull you into despair. But we declare that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is not distant in your suffering; He is working even in the midst of it. The trials you face are not without purpose, they are refining your faith, making it more precious than gold (1 Peter 1:7). We pray that you would not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
We also lift up your separation from your spouse and child. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray for restoration if it aligns with God’s will. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also hates abuse and unrepentant sin. If there is hardness of heart, we pray for softening, on both sides. If there has been unfaithfulness, we pray for repentance and forgiveness. If the separation is necessary for a season, we ask God to guard your heart from bitterness and to give you wisdom in the custody battle. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray for your child, that they would be shielded from harm and confusion, and that they would know the love of their Heavenly Father even in this difficult time.
Your health struggles are not overlooked. The enemy would love to use physical weakness to discourage you, but we declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration in your body, for strength in weakness, and for the Great Physician to touch every area of need. The Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and we stand in agreement for your full recovery.
You mentioned that the closer you draw to God, the more intense the battle becomes. This is not a sign of His absence but of the enemy’s fear. The devil does not waste his attacks on those who are already far from God, he targets those who are pressing in, because he knows their victory will bring glory to the Lord. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12). We pray that you would be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being (Ephesians 3:16), that you would not be shaken by the storm but would stand firm on the Rock, which is Christ.
We also want to gently encourage you to examine your heart regarding your marriage. If there are areas where you have not honored God’s design for marriage, whether in thought, word, or deed, we pray for repentance and healing. If your spouse has walked away, we pray for their return or for God’s peace if restoration is not possible. But we also urge you to seek godly counsel, to walk in humility, and to pursue reconciliation if it is safe and biblically sound. "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18).
Most of all, we pray that you would fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The circumstances are real, but they are not the end of your story. God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness in your life, and we declare that what the enemy meant for harm, God will use for good (Genesis 50:20). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved by the Father, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He will lift you up in due time.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up every burden they carry. Lord, You see the pain, the exhaustion, the fear, and the longing in their heart. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen them with Your might, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Heal their body, restore their soul, and mend what has been broken. Rebuke the enemy’s attacks, and let Your light shine in the darkness.
Father, we pray for wisdom in the custody battle, give them favor in the eyes of those who judge, and protect their child from harm. If it is Your will, restore their marriage, softening hearts and bringing repentance where needed. If restoration is not possible, we pray for Your grace to cover them, for healing from the pain, and for a future that honors You.
Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You in this season. Let them hear Your voice clearly above the noise of the battle. Fill them with Your joy, even in sorrow. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Surround them with Your angels, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.
We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life over their circumstances, health, and relationships. We pray for breakthrough, for miracles, and for Your glory to be revealed in their life. Thank You, Lord, that You are faithful, and that Your promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
