We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before Him. We are grateful that this prayer is offered in Jesus’ name, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we thank You for Your constant presence and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You indeed stay always with this family, surrounding them with Your angels to keep them safe and healthy. Protect them from all harm, sickness, and evil, and grant them the strength and vitality to walk in Your ways each day. We pray for healing over any illness or weakness in their bodies, for You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26). By the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing now in His name.
Lord, we lift up this precious daughter to You, asking that You pour out Your wisdom, focus, and creativity upon her. May she excel in her studies, not for her own glory, but to honor You with the gifts and talents You have entrusted to her (Colossians 3:23). Bless her with discipline, perseverance, and joy as she pursues her education and dance. May her heart be aligned with Your will, and may she grow in grace and knowledge of You (2 Peter 3:18). Father, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity for her, guiding her steps and ordaining her path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also bring before You the desire for employment and provision. Lord, You know the needs of this family, and we trust in Your promise to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You open the right doors for a good job, one that will allow this father to provide for his family with dignity and integrity. May the work of his hands be blessed, and may he find fulfillment in serving You through his labor (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12). We pray for favor in the eyes of employers and for opportunities that align with Your perfect will for this family.
Father, we also lift up their desire to live together as a family in a place that You have prepared for them. We know that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You guide them to a home that is safe, peaceful, and filled with Your presence. May their household be a place of love, unity, and worship, where Your name is honored and Your Word is upheld.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their hearts. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against any lies that tell them You are not faithful or that their circumstances will not change. We declare that this family is more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we speak victory over every area of their lives.
Heavenly Father, we also want to gently encourage this family to continue seeking You above all else. In Matthew 6:33, You tell us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be added unto us. We pray that they would draw near to You daily, through prayer, reading Your Word, and fellowship with other believers. May their relationship with You be their foundation, and may they find their strength and hope in You alone.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this family. We believe that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work in their lives. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that Your plans are perfect. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
