We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before God. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and so we approach God with reverence, knowing that our prayers are heard because of Jesus.
Father God, we thank You for Your constant presence and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that You would indeed stay always with this family, surrounding them with Your angels to keep them safe and healthy. Guard their bodies, minds, and spirits from all harm and sickness, for You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We declare Your healing power over them, believing that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we lift up this dear daughter to You, asking that You would bless her abundantly in her studies and dance. Give her wisdom, discipline, and understanding as she learns, for "the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10). May she excel in all she does, not for her own glory, but to honor You, for "whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). Bless her with creativity, strength, and joy as she dances, using her talents to glorify You.
Father, we also pray for this parent seeking employment. You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would open the right doors for them to find a good job that allows them to provide for their family and live together in peace. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). May they find favor in the eyes of employers and may their labor be fruitful, for "the laborer is worthy of his wages" (Luke 10:7). Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in this family’s hearts. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on Your Word, which says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me" (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no plan of the enemy will prosper against them.
Lord, we also pray for unity and love within this family. May they encourage one another daily, spurring each other on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Help them to bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2). May their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship, where Your presence dwells richly.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
