We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt request, lifting up this family in prayer. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have acknowledged His lordship in your life.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your constant presence, for You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that You would indeed stay with this family always, surrounding them with Your protection and peace. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and keep them safe from all harm, both seen and unseen. We ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies, that any sickness or infirmity would be driven out in the mighty name of Jesus. By Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this family today.
Lord, we lift up this dear daughter to You, asking that You would bless her mind and body as she pursues her studies and dance. Give her discipline, focus, and a spirit of excellence, that she may glorify You in all she does. May she grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Strengthen her with might by Your Spirit in her inner being (Ephesians 3:16), so that she may run with endurance the race set before her.
Father, we also pray for this parent seeking employment. You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to live in unity with their family, in a place where they can thrive and serve You. May they find favor in the sight of employers, and may their work be a testimony to Your goodness and provision.
Lord, we also want to gently address the importance of living in a manner that honors You in all areas of life. If there are any areas where this family may be struggling with sin or disobedience—whether in relationships, habits, or thoughts—we pray that You would bring conviction and repentance. Help them to walk in holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). If there are any relationships that do not align with Your Word, such as fornication, adultery, or same-sex relationships, we pray for Your truth to prevail and for hearts to be turned toward Your design for love and marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6).
Above all, we pray that this family would grow deeper in their relationship with You. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear fruit in every season of life.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray:
"Father God, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We ask that You would move mightily in the lives of this family, drawing them closer to You each day. Strengthen their faith, heal their bodies, and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and may their lives be a light that points others to You. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or sickness in Jesus’ name, and we declare Your promises over them. Thank You for Your faithfulness, and thank You for the privilege of coming before You on their behalf. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
