We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt request, lifting up this family in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your constant presence and the assurance that You never leave nor forsake us. Your Word reminds us in Deuteronomy 31:8, "He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed." We claim this promise over this family, asking that You indeed stay with them always, guiding their steps and surrounding them with Your protection.
Lord, we pray for this precious daughter, that You would bless her abundantly in her studies and dance. May she find joy and fulfillment in her pursuits, and may her efforts bring glory to Your name. Proverbs 2:6 tells us, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We ask that You grant her wisdom, understanding, and discipline as she applies herself to her studies. In her dance, may she use her talents to honor You, remembering that all good gifts come from You (James 1:17).
Father, we also lift up the health of this family. We know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon them. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We trust in Your healing power and ask that You restore their health according to Your will.
For the father seeking employment, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can shut. May he find a job that not only provides for his family but also allows him to use his gifts and talents to serve You and others. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision and ask that You lead him to the right place of employment where he can thrive and support his family.
Lord, we also pray for their living situation. May You guide them to a place where they can live together in peace and unity, a home that reflects Your love and grace. We know that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We must address a concern in this prayer request. While we appreciate the heart behind the plea, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in the closing of the prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage this family to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we are redeemed and by His name that we are heard.
Let us now pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask that You stay with them always, guiding their steps and protecting them from harm. Bless the daughter in her studies and dance, granting her wisdom, discipline, and joy in her pursuits. Heal this family of any sickness and restore their health according to Your will. Provide a job for the father, one that allows him to use his gifts and provide for his family. Lead them to a home where they can live together in peace and unity.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in their lives. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would grow in their faith and trust in You, knowing that You are always with them.
Lord, we ask that You draw this family closer to You, that they would seek Your face and Your will in all things. May they find their strength and hope in You alone. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
