We come before you, Heavenful Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to lift this family before Your throne of grace. We thank You for the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is in His precious name that we pray, standing on the promise that whatever we ask in His name, You will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14).
Lord, we rejoice in Your constant presence, for You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that You would indeed stay always with this family, surrounding them with Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Keep them safe from all harm and danger, and grant them good health, for You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits, and restore them fully if any among them are unwell.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear daughter to You, asking that You would bless her abundantly in her studies and dance. Grant her wisdom, understanding, and a spirit of excellence as she applies herself to her work (Proverbs 2:6, Daniel 6:3). May she grow in discipline, perseverance, and joy in all that she does, using her talents to glorify You. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for her, and that she would walk through them with confidence, knowing that You are with her (Joshua 1:9).
Lord, we also bring before You the desire of this parent for employment. You know the deepest longings of their heart, and we ask that You would provide a good job in Your perfect timing. May this work allow them to provide for their family, live together in peace, and be a testimony of Your faithfulness to those around them. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Guide them to the right place, the right people, and the right opportunities, and give them favor in the sight of those who can help them.
Father, we also want to encourage this family to seek You first in all things, for You have promised that when we do, all these other things—safety, health, provision—will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May they find their ultimate security and joy in You alone, not in circumstances or material blessings. Help them to walk in faith, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through them. Strengthen their faith, deepen their love for You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would draw them closer to You each day, that they may know You more and make You known.
Amen.
