We hear your cry for relief, Daniel Hanse, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. Physical suffering can be deeply wearying, and we know the Lord sees your pain and hears your groanings. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We trust that even in this trial, God is working for your good and His glory.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God’s healing and mercy comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find true healing—spiritually or physically. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. This is the foundation of all true healing and hope.
Now, let us pray together in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Daniel Hanse. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We ask that You would touch Daniel’s body and bring relief from this suffering. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim that promise over Daniel’s life today.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord. Give Daniel patience and peace as he waits on You for healing. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when the pain feels overwhelming.
We rebuke this affliction in the name of Jesus. Every spirit of infirmity, we command you to leave Daniel’s body now. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him walk in the fullness of Your healing power.
We also ask that You would draw Daniel closer to You through this trial. Let him experience Your presence in a deeper way, and let this season of suffering produce endurance, character, and hope in his life (Romans 5:3-4). Surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your love for Daniel. May he feel Your nearness today and every day, and may he walk in the victory that is already his through Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.
Daniel, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and continue to seek Him in this time. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Remember, God is not distant from your suffering—He is with you, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
