We come before the Lord with thanksgiving for your heart’s desire to serve and work in ###, and we lift this request to Him, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:9, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* Your plans are in His hands, and we trust that if this is His will, He will open the doors for you to travel and begin your work there before the end of November.
However, we must also ask: have you sought the Lord’s will in prayer about this opportunity? Are you going in obedience to His leading, or is this driven by personal ambition or urgency? In James 4:13-15, we are told, *"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.' Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live and do this or that.'"* Let us submit this desire fully to Him, asking for His timing and provision.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
