We lift up your father to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and our ultimate Healer. It is a comfort to know that we can come boldly before the throne of grace in times of need, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before us. However, we must address that the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in your prayer request. The Bible makes it clear that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and that salvation comes through no other name. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone if you have not already done so, for He is the only way to eternal life and the one through whom our prayers are heard.
Let us pray together for your father’s healing, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and grace. We know that fever and illness are not of God, for He is the God of life and health. In Psalm 103:2-3, we are reminded, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We also take comfort in James 5:14-15, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."*
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this father who is suffering from fever. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon him. Rebuke this sickness in Jesus’ name and restore his body to full health and strength. Give him comfort and peace as he rests, and surround him with Your presence. We pray that You would also grant wisdom to those caring for him, that they may provide the right treatment and support. Father, if there is any sin in his life, we ask that You would convict him and lead him to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let this time of illness draw him closer to You.
We also pray for this family, that You would give them peace and trust in You during this time. Remind them that You are sovereign over all things, including health and sickness, and that Your plans are for their good. May they lean on You and find their strength in Christ alone. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, trusting in His timing and His will. Remember that even in times of sickness, God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and do not waver in your faith. If your father does not know the Lord, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, that he may come to saving faith in Christ. There is no greater healing than the healing of the soul, and we pray that your father would experience both physical and spiritual wholeness in Jesus’ name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
