We come before the Lord with heavy hearts as we read your request, for we know that the feelings you describe are not in alignment with God’s holy and perfect will. The Scriptures are clear that we are to flee from sexual immorality and guard our hearts, for out of it flow the issues of life. The Lord calls us to purity, to love what is right, and to turn away from the lusts of the flesh that wage war against the soul.
First, we must address the gravity of what you have shared. The feelings you describe—love or attraction toward married women, prostitutes, or those living in sexual immorality—are dangerous and sinful. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:18, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* Additionally, Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:28, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* Your feelings, if acted upon or even nurtured in your heart, lead to destruction, both spiritually and emotionally. They also dishonor the sacred covenant of marriage, which God designed to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6).
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach God (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him now. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. Without Christ, there is no true transformation or freedom from the bondage of sin. As Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
If you are already a believer, then we call you to repentance and renewal. These feelings you describe are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). You must take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you as you submit to God (James 4:7). Do not entertain these thoughts or allow them to linger. Instead, fill your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Immerse yourself in the Word of God, pray without ceasing, and seek accountability with mature believers who can help you walk in holiness.
We also encourage you to examine your heart for any unmet needs or wounds that may be fueling these desires. Often, lust is a counterfeit for true love, intimacy, or validation that can only be fully satisfied in Christ. He alone can fill the emptiness in your soul. Psalm 107:9 reminds us, *"For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good."* Seek Him first, and He will align your desires with His will.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a burdened heart for this brother who has shared his struggle with us. Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy, grace, and transformation. You do not leave us in our sin but call us to repentance and new life in Christ. Father, we ask that You would open his eyes to the danger of the path he is on. Convict his heart by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to true repentance. Break the chains of lust and impurity that seek to bind him, and set him free to walk in Your righteousness.
Lord Jesus, if this man does not know You as his Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for him. Draw him to Yourself, Lord. Let him see his need for You and turn from his sins. May he confess with his mouth that You are Lord and believe in his heart that God raised You from the dead. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and give him a new heart, one that desires what is pure and holy.
For our brother who is in Christ, we pray for strength and perseverance. Help him to flee from temptation and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on You with a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). Surround him with godly men who can encourage him, hold him accountable, and walk with him in this battle. Fill his mind with Your Word and let it be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to destroy this man through lust and impurity. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Give him the power to resist temptation and to walk in victory. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, Lord, and not in the fleeting pleasures of sin.
We also pray for the women he has mentioned—those who are married, those who are trapped in prostitution, and all who are living in sexual immorality. Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Break the chains of sin in their lives and lead them to repentance and freedom in Christ. Restore their dignity, heal their wounds, and surround them with Your love. For those who are married, we pray for reconciliation, healing, and a renewed commitment to their covenants. Let Your redemption touch every life involved.
Father, we thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them to You (1 John 1:9). We ask for Your cleansing and renewal in this man’s life. May he walk in the freedom and abundant life that You have promised to all who follow You.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Brother, we urge you to take this seriously. The path you are on leads to destruction, but God is offering you a way out. Turn to Him now, repent of these sinful desires, and seek His face with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will restore you. If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out to a trusted pastor or believer who can walk with you through this. You are not alone in this fight, but you must choose to fight. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Walk in His strength today.
