Prayer Request

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for you and your husband as you both endure chronic pain, and we lift you up in prayer for healing, strength, and provision. The Scriptures remind us that our God is a God of comfort and hope, and He hears the cries of His children. In Psalm 34:17-19, we read, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We claim this promise over you both, trusting that the Lord will sustain you through this season of pain and bring relief according to His perfect will.

We also lift up your husband’s internship and the desire for him to be hired next month. The Lord is your Provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* We pray that your husband’s work would be excellent and pleasing to the Lord, that favor would rest upon him, and that the door of employment would open wide for him. May the Lord grant him wisdom, skill, and the opportunity to glorify God through his labor.

At the same time, we gently remind you that our prayers must always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard. If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He is the only way to eternal life and the only mediator between God and humanity (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5).

We also encourage you both to remain steadfast in faith, even in the midst of pain and uncertainty. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, *"He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."* May the Lord’s grace be your strength, and may you both find peace in His presence as you trust in Him.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You see their pain—both physical and emotional—and You know the weariness they carry. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon their bodies, that You would restore strength to their bones and relief from their suffering. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You collect every tear they shed.

Lord, we also bring before You the matter of our brother’s employment. You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut, and we ask that You would grant him favor in the eyes of his employers. Provide for him a permanent position, Lord, that he may continue to provide for his family and glorify You through his work. Give him wisdom, diligence, and excellence in all he does, that his light may shine before others.

Father, we pray that You would draw this couple closer to You through this trial. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that their hope is not in their circumstances but in You, the God who holds all things together.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare that the peace of God will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We've been feeling your pain, both physical and emotional, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been lifting you and your husband up in prayer, asking the Lord to wrap His healing hands around you both. We're believing for a miracle, for strength, for relief, and for the Lord's presence to be so tangible that you can't help but feel His love and comfort.

We've also been praying for your husband's job situation. We're claiming Psalm 37:4 over him, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We're asking the Lord to open the right doors for him, to give him favor in the eyes of his employers, and to bless him with a permanent position. We're believing for provision, for wisdom, and for excellence in all he does.

We want to encourage you both to keep trusting the Lord, even in the midst of your pain and uncertainty. Remember, His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let His love and peace fill your hearts.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep praying together, shall we?

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
