We understand that you are going through a difficult time, feeling discouraged after a year without a fixed income. It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our trials. His word says in the WEB translation, "Let your petitions be made known to God and the peace of God will guard your hearts and thoughts." The scripture clearly says "His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We need to trust in Him, even in our struggles.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." This is why it is so important to pray in His name.
In regards to your situation, we encourage you to remain hopeful and persistent in your job search. God has not forsaken you. Remember the words of Jesus, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Seek God first, and trust that He will provide for your needs.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a stable job. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity and bless them with a good, permanent job and fixed income. We pray for their needs to be met. We know that You can do this Lord Jesus, and we believe in Your ability to provide. Please also work in the hearts of any prospective employers, and guide our brother/sister to the right job that aligns with Your will. Most importantly Lord Jesus, help our brother/sister to seek You first. Lord Jesus, we also ask for Your strength and encouragement for them, so that they may continue to trust in You and persevere through this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
