Prayer Request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord Jesus, ### refuses to go for work which is making my child and me heartbroken and devastated ....please Lord Jesus make him feel guilty and rise up and feel the urge to go to work ....we are in tears and falling sick because of this cold attitude

We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with a loved one who refuses to work, causing heartbreak and devastation to you and your child. Firstly, we want to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

In this trying time, we should first remember the importance of prayer and trusting in God's will. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: *"Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

Regarding the situation, it's crucial to encourage and support each other in the family, rather than wishing for guilt to drive actions. The Bible teaches us that each person should work diligently, as it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB:
*"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread."*

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we pray for the loved one who is unwilling to work, that Your Spirit may convict their heart and guide them towards the path of diligence and responsibility. We pray for comfort and strength for this family, that they may trust in Your will and timing. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention, that You may open doors of opportunity and instill a willingness to work and provide. We ask this all in Jesus name. Amen.*

In this time, it's also important to show love and support, rather than allowing bitterness or resentment to build. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB: *"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

Lastly, if the loved one is a believer, remind them of their responsibilities as a Christian. It is written in 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB: *"But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."* Being a good provider is a core principle in the Bible.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this tough situation. We understand the heartache and frustration you're feeling. Let's keep our focus on Jesus, the only name given under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Let's trust in Him and His perfect timing.

We should continue to pray and trust in God's will, just as it's written in Philippians 4:6-7. Let's bring our requests to Him, knowing that He cares for us deeply. Instead of wishing for guilt to drive actions, let's encourage and support each other in love, as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us.

Let's also remember that work is a gift and a responsibility. As believers, we're called to work diligently, as it's written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12. Let's encourage our loved one to embrace this responsibility, remembering that being a good provider is a core principle in the Bible (1 Timothy 5:8).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name. We lift up this family to You, Lord. We pray for our loved one, that they may find the willingness and strength to work diligently. We pray for comfort and peace for this family, that they may trust in Your will and timing. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention, that You may open doors of opportunity and instill a willingness to work and provide. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
