We lift up ###, his parents, and his nephew before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to surround them with His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. May they feel the love and care that ### has for them, and may the Holy Spirit minister to their hearts in a deep and personal way.
Father God, we pray that You would guard their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus, as Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let them experience this peace that only You can provide, knowing that they are not alone and that they are deeply loved.
Lord, we also ask that You would draw each of them closer to You. May they seek Your face and find comfort in Your presence. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them feel the warmth of Your love and the assurance of Your promises.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, loneliness, or fear that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, bringing hope, joy, and peace.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they would come to know You more intimately if they do not already. May they understand that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We pray that they would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they have not already, and if they have, that they would grow in their relationship with Him.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
