We lift up your neighbor before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to move mightily in her life. Father, we pray that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to Your truth and love. May she experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that only comes through a personal relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. For it is written, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27).
Lord, we ask that You would heal any bitterness, anger, or pain that may be causing her to spread negativity rather than love. Your Word tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). We pray that she would be filled with Your kindness and compassion, reflecting Your character in all she does.
We also ask for her physical health, Lord. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and lift any burdens she may be carrying. May she find joy in You and desire to spread Your love to those around her. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Let her experience the abundant life You offer through Christ.
We must also address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your neighbor does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Him. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without this relationship, true and lasting transformation cannot occur.
We rebuke any spirit of hatred, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be at work in her life. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and declare that Your love and light would fill every part of her being. *"For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your power to change hearts and lives. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw her to You, convict her of sin, and lead her into repentance and faith. May she come to know the depth of Your love and the freedom that is found in Christ alone. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.
