Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this burden with us and allowing us to pray with you for your loved one. We have heard your request for healing from bowel cancer, for relief from sickness, for appetite and strength to return, for help drinking the nutritional drinks, and for grace for her weak body as she struggles to get around.
We join you in bringing her before our loving Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and hope for healing both now and eternally. We pray that the Lord in His mercy would ease her nausea, restore her desire to eat and drink, and renew her physical strength day by day. We ask that He would help her to take what her body needs for nourishment, that He would sustain her as she moves and give her rest, and that He would bring healing to her body according to His perfect will.
We know that when we are bowed down by disease we have no strength in ourselves, but God Himself is the One who gives strength and who applies the healing treatment with patience and compassion. He is a loving Father who hears the prayers of His children and does not turn away those who come to Him through Christ. Even when healing is slow and weakness remains, we do not give up in despair, but continue to seek Him, trusting that He is at work for good and that His grace is sufficient.
We will continue to pray for her comfort, for wisdom for those caring for her, and for peace for you and your family as you walk through this difficult time. May the Lord draw you all closer to Himself, remind you of His nearness, and give you confidence in His care and in the eternal hope we have in Christ Jesus.
We are praying with you and for you.
