We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation that has caused deep pain and injustice. Father God, we know that Your Word declares in Proverbs 18:13, *"He who gives answer before he hears, that is folly and shame to him."* It is clear that words spoken in haste or with malice can wound deeply, and we pray for truth and restoration in this matter.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over this woman who has been publicly shamed and slandered. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:15-16, *"The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry. The face of Yahweh is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth."* We pray that You would shield her from the lies and deceit that have been spread about her, and that You would bring forth the truth in Your perfect timing.
We also lift up the Christian lawyer mentioned in this request. Father, we are grieved when those who claim Your name use their influence to spread falsehoods or harm others. Your Word warns in James 3:10, *"Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."* We rebuke any spirit of pride, deception, or unrighteous judgment that may have taken root in this situation. We pray that if this individual has acted unjustly, You would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. Let her remember that as a believer, she is called to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to uphold justice, mercy, and humility (Micah 6:8).
Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for those who have been affected by these false accusations. May they not be swayed by lies but stand firm in the truth of Your Word. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You will bring justice to this situation.
We pray for healing for all who have been hurt by these words—whether the woman who has been slandered or the young Singaporeans who have been unfairly accused. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for the legal system in Singapore, that it would uphold justice and righteousness, as You have ordained (Romans 13:1-4).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. May Your name be exalted, and may Your truth prevail. We trust in You, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
To the one who submitted this request, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. The enemy may seek to destroy, but God is greater. Continue to walk in truth, and trust that He will vindicate the righteous. If you have not already, we urge you to seek wise counsel—both spiritually and legally—to navigate this situation with godly wisdom. And above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
