Oh Lord I come before you today to thank you for all that we have today I surrender my Friend to you I request this prayer for him as he is struggling to find a job and also he has the responsibility to take care of his family and has been employed for quite few months so he has attended a interview in a company and I really want him to get this job I place this request here. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up this dear brother in Christ who is seeking God’s provision in his life. Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We know that You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom for this situation.

Lord, we ask that You would grant this brother favor in the eyes of those making the hiring decision. May they see not only his skills and qualifications but also the integrity, diligence, and godly character that You have placed within him. We pray that this opportunity would align with Your will for his life, providing not only financial stability but also a workplace where he can glorify You and be a light to others. "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3).

We also lift up his family to You, Father. We know that the weight of providing for them is heavy on his heart, and we ask that You would comfort and strengthen him in this season. Remind him that You are his ultimate Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that his worth is not defined by his employment status but by his identity in Christ. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37) and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that he would walk in confidence, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, if this job is not the one You have for him, we ask that You would close the door gently and open another that is even better suited to Your purpose for his life. Give him peace as he waits, and fill him with hope as he seeks Your guidance. May he find his strength in You, for "those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

We also encourage this brother to continue seeking You in prayer and in Your Word, trusting that You hear his cries and will answer according to Your perfect will. May he find encouragement in the truth that "the Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Remind him to lean not on his own understanding but to acknowledge You in all his ways, so that You may direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of this brother. We ask that You would bless him abundantly, not only with the provision he needs but also with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he experience Your presence in a tangible way during this time, and may his faith grow stronger as he sees Your hand at work in his life. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We understand the weight these waiting days carry, not just for your friend, but for you as you walk alongside him. Job loss hits hard. It’s more than a missing paycheck; it’s the daily pressure of providing for a family while wondering when the next opportunity will come. The hope tied to a single interview can feel enormous, and we join you in asking God to open the right door.

Right now, your friend needs steady, present support more than perfect words. One simple thing you can do is encourage him to send a brief thank-you note to the interviewer. A short, genuine message that thanks them for their time, reiterates his interest in the position, and mentions something specific from the conversation can show initiative and thoughtfulness. It’s a small act that also helps him feel he has done everything he can, releasing some of the helplessness waiting can bring.

We also want you to know we’re praying with you, not just for a job, but for your friend’s whole heart. The fear that whispers he is falling short as a provider, the exhaustion of months without work, the ache of wanting to say “yes” to his family’s needs, these are real. We ask God to shelter him from those accusing voices and to give him a deep, quiet confidence that his worth rests in Christ, not in an offer letter.

As you continue standing with him, your presence itself is a ministry. Keep checking in, bring a meal if you can, and gently remind him that you see a man striving faithfully, not a man failing.

Let’s pray:

Father, we lift up this friend to You. He has been without work for months, and his family looks to him with hope. You know the details of this interview, the words he said, the impression he made. We ask that if it is Your will, You would give him favor and bring a job that sustains his household and restores his sense of purpose. But more than that, guard his mind. Quiet the fear of scarcity with the truth that You are his provider. Give him patience in the waiting and the grace to trust Your timing. Comfort his family, and bless this caring friend who comes before Your throne on his behalf. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The turning of our own captivity often comes when we set our hearts to pray for our friends. You have brought this brother before the throne of grace, and that is a blessed work, for it is written, "The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends." Not while he contended, nor when he sat in silence among the ashes, but when he interceded for those who had spoken harshly to him. God has put high in the mountains of His promise springs of love; it is yours to bring them down by the divine channel of your intense supplications. Continue in this labor, for it is sweet in the sight of the Lord.

Yet you must also trust the Almighty with the outcome. Remember that in all his calamities, Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Before that temptation he did not fall. To say, "It is the Lord, let Him do what seems good to Him," is a grace more precious than gold. We are apt to judge the Lord by feeble sense instead of trusting Him for His divine grace. This comes of evil. If the case is to be heard as "Jehovah versus us," then we must yield the point unreservedly. We are wrong; God must be right. He who appoints the house appointed for all living also determines the habitation of our earthly pilgrimage.

Speak, then, to your friend not only of the interview before men, but of submission before the face of his Maker. Job in his anguish said, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." That is the ultimatum of faith, to cling to a slaying God. If he can, by grace, reach that place, every anxiety about a salary or a position will lose its sting. The Lord may indeed grant this employment, and your prayer is heard for that purpose. But if the door remains shut, it is that another and better portal should open, even as Job’s latter end was so greatly increased. The glory that was fresh in him returned with double portion.

Do not let this trial become an occasion for despair or unbelieving speeches. Many sin by these. The whisper comes that God has forgotten, but it is a lie from the pit. Instead, let your friend, as a son or daughter of the Lord God Almighty, feel the family bond that silences all mistrust. You shall all feast upon the children’s meat and be partakers of all the privileges of the household. Be natural, be yourself, be at rest in the Father’s will. The way into His heart has been revealed in the wounds of Christ; come boldly, then, and find grace to help in this time of need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is right and good that you have brought your friend’s need before the Lord. A true friend prays for another as for himself and desires the same good for him. Such intercession is not a small thing. God has often blessed people through the prayers of others, especially when the one prayed for also turns to God with a sincere heart.

But prayer does not remove your friend’s own effort. We need both our part and God’s part. Let him continue searching for work, prepare honestly, and not grow slack. Seeking employment to provide food and shelter for his family is a necessary care, not a love of luxury. It is honorable to support those under his charge.

At the same time, do not insist that God must give this exact position. Lay the request before Him, but leave the outcome to His wisdom. If He opens this door, thank Him and work faithfully. If He closes it, that is not proof that He has abandoned your friend. When God is our friend, no human disappointment can destroy us; when He is our enemy, no worldly success can save us. Pray first that your friend may have God favorable to him, and then the matter of a job will be ordered for his good.

I join you in this request:

Lord, you know this man’s need and the burden he carries for his family. Look upon him in mercy. If it is for his good and your glory, open this door of employment and give him favor with those who decide. If not, provide another way and sustain him until it comes. Give him patience, honesty, and diligence. Do not let anxiety drive him to sin or despair. Bless the one who prays for him, and teach them both to trust in your care. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your friend is carrying a heavy weight, and you are right to bring his need before the Lord. The book of Job reminds us that a man can lose his livelihood and still be known and loved by God. Job was stripped of his wealth and security, and his friends wrongly assumed his suffering meant hidden sin. That is not how God spoke of him. God called Job upright and had his eye on him, even when Job could not see what was happening.

A long job search can feel like that. Months without work can make a man wonder if he has been forgotten or if he has done something wrong. But lack of a job is not proof of God's displeasure. Your friend's responsibility to care for his family matters to the Lord. The desire to provide is honorable. We can pray for this interview and for open doors, while trusting God's timing more than our own understanding.

Job did not have answers for why he suffered, but he kept pouring out his heart to God rather than turning away. Encourage your friend to keep seeking the Lord honestly. He does not need to pretend he is fine. He can bring his weariness and his need to God, and he can know that Jesus Christ is the mediator Job longed for, the one who stands between God and us. Through him we can ask for mercy and help with confidence.

I will join you in asking the Lord to provide work for your friend, to give him peace while he waits, and to provide for his family whether through this job or another door. If this particular job does not come through, it will not mean God has abandoned him. Keep praying, keep encouraging him, and keep trusting that the Lord sees what we cannot see.
